Lion garden
A Romanian man has been caught rearing a lion in his back garden after neighbours complained about the noise.
Police were called to the 28-year-old’s house where they found a caged three-year-old lioness, as well as two deer, a stag and two peacocks roaming the garden.
He is now being charged with illegal possession of wild animals and could be sentenced to up to a year in jail. The lioness will be taken to the Bucharest zoo, but police allow the man to keep the peacocks and his dogs.
