HAIRSPRAY STAR WINOKUR IN TALKS FOR TALK SHOW
Former HAIRSPRAY stage star MARISSA JARET WINOKUR is in negotiations to launch her own daytime talk show.
The actress/singer and mum-to-be, who won a Tony Award for her role as Tracy Turnblad on Broadway, is looking to launch her new show in 2009.
Last month (Mar08), the 35-year-old star, who is currently a contestant on U.S. talent show DANCING WITH THE STARS, revealed she and her husband, writer Judah Miller, are to become parents by a surrogate in July (08).
Winokur underwent a hysterectomy in 2000 to help her beat cervical cancer, and the procedure robbed her of the chance to carry a child herself - but she was able to freeze some of her eggs."
