LUFTI ‘STILL IN CONTACT WITH SPEARS’ DESPITE RESTRAINING ORDER
LATEST: BRITNEY SPEARS’ former manager SAM LUTFI insists he is still part of the star’s life - claiming he is in constant contact with the singer’s family to discuss her wellbeing.
The Toxic star’s family was granted an extension on a restraining order against the former manager by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge in a hearing on Wednesday (16Apr08), meaning he will have to stay out of Spears’ life for another two-and-half months.
But in a statement to USmagazine.com, Lutfi insists he is on the singer’s side - stating he often speaks to Spears’ family to check up on the singer.
Lutfi’s spokesman, Michael Sands, tells the publication, "Sam and the family are communicating and co-operating trying to do what’s best for Britney."
