FESTIVAL CANCELLED OVER LACK OF ACTS
A music festival in Liverpool, England, has been cancelled after organisers failed to secure any high profile acts.
Last year’s (07) Knowsley Hall Music festival saw a variety of bands take to the stage including The Who, Madness, The Zutons and Keane.
Cream - the company behind the festival - had planned to turn the event into an annual occurrence, with the second scheduled to take place this summer (08).
But festival bosses have now been forced to scrap the weekend of live music blaming the move on the lack of artists willing to play the festival circuit this year (08).
