BRITISH TOURIST CRASHED IRON MAN SET
GWYNETH PALTROW and ROBERT DOWNEY JR. have an unlikely co-star in their latest film IRON MAN - a British tourist who wandered onto the set.
Carl Kelly, a salesman from England, came across the movie shoot at Caesar’s Palace Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas last year (07), and convinced security guards he was an extra in the film.
And Kelly managed to land a prime spot, sitting at a blackjack table behind Paltrow. He even scored screen time with Paltrow when director Jon Favreau asked him to interact with the actress.
He says, "When a guard asked for my pass, I pointed to an empty chair and said I’d left it there. Unbelievably, he believed me."
