ALLMAN PULLS OUT OF BONNAROO FESTIVAL
LATEST: GREGG ALLMAN’s ongoing recovery from Hepatitis C has prompted the ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND to scrap their upcoming performance at the Bonnaroo Festival in Tennessee.
The group announced it would be rescheduling a string of shows planned for May (08) to allow Allman to fully recover from treatment, but it was hoped he’d be able to perform at Bonnaroo in June (08).
In a statement from Allman, the rocker said, "I’m getting better but I’m still tired. I need to be at 110 per cent to do the shows the way we do them."
