WALLIAMS ‘SCARED’ BY STALKER
British comic DAVID WALLIAMS has asked police to investigate a young female ’stalker’.
Sarah Bartholomew, 29, has spent the last three years bombarding the funnyman with erotic poems, photographing him secretly in his house and showering him with gifts.
In an upcoming book Inside Little Britain - co-written by Walliams and his comic partner Matt Lucas - Walliams describes how she sent him a 12-page poem "written in various different colours of ink over a period of weeks".
Describing her level of devotion as "a bit scary", the book goes on: "In the end, he’s had to inform the police, simply because she now knows where he lives and does seem to be worryingly obsessive." The woman has been banned by the BBC from their London studios. A Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed the force was aware of the harassment allegation.
