U.K. OFFICIALS TO APPEAR SNOOP VISA DECISION

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 9:47 pm

British authorities are appealing a court decision to allow rapper SNOOP DOGG into the U.K.
The Beautiful hitmaker - real name Calvin Broadus - was prohibited from entering Britain after he was involved in a brawl at Heathrow Airport in April 2006.
That ruling was overturned earlier this year (08) when Snoop wrote to the U.K. government to ask for his visa ban to be lifted.
But, on Friday (04Apr08), Britain’s Border Agency bosses confirmed they will challenge the decision at a hearing next week (begs07Apr08).
The 2006 incident at Heathrow Airport left seven police officers injured and led to the star being handed a caution for affray and a ban on returning to the country.
In March 2007, Snoop had to cancel a tour of Britain with fellow rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs when he was denied a visa.
The following month (Apr07), he was also denied entry into Australia.
