MIRREN MISTAKEN FOR RUSSIAN NATIVE
DAME HELEN MIRREN loves visiting Russia - because she is often mistaken for a native.
The Oscar-winning actress, 62, who is half Russian on her father’s side, admits locals assume she hails from their country, and not the U.K.
She says, "I was in Russia not long ago. It’s so vast and the scenery really changes.
"When I go there, I realise I look Russian; people come up to me and speak to me in Russian."
