MADONNA’S FAMILY MOCK HER FOR SCRUFFY STYLE
MADONNA doesn’t see herself as a style icon - because her family mock her scruffy style of dressing.
The Material Girl star admits fashion isn’t high on her agenda, and feels comfortable in less-restrictive clothing, but faces a barrage of criticism from husband Guy Ritchie and daughter Lourdes.
And the 11-year-old is so embarrassed by her mum’s tatty gym-wear, she is left-red faced when the 50-year-old singer turns up at the school gates.
She says, "I’m happy to muck around in a pair of drawstring pants and wellies. But my daughter (Lourdes) gets angry because I go to school wearing my tracksuit.
"She says, ‘Can’t you just wear normal clothes?’ I think she wants me to be a yummy mummy but that’s not me. Guy will sometimes laugh at what I wear too."
