Hollywood actress KATHERINE HEIGL pushed singer JOSH KELLEY to propose to her by dropping strong hints about marriage.
The Knocked Up star met Kelley on the set of one of his music videos in 2005 and they subsequently began dating.
Kelley proposed in 2006 and the couple wed a year later (07).
But Heigl insists the proposal was all her idea.
She says, "I didn’t propose to him (but) I strongly suggested he propose.
"One say we were sitting in my house, chatting and having a glass of wine, and I said, ‘How do you feel about marriage? Where do you see this relationship going? Because I don’t want to just date any more.’ I had just got to a place in my life when I was ready for a commitment."

Former FRIENDS star JENNIFER ANISTON has teamed up with Hollywood producer KRISTIN HAHN to create her own film company.
The actress co-founded movie production firm Plan B Entertainment with her ex-husband Brad Pitt, but decided to part ways with the company after the couple split in 2005.
Now the 39-year-old has formed Echo Films with Hahn, who is best known as an executive producer on Martin Scorsese’s The Departed.
The company is already reported to have lined up a variety of projects taken from books and real life stories, most of which will see Aniston take the lead role.
Confirming the move in a statement, Aniston and Hahn say: "We’re drawn to stories about people finding their voice and finding their way because they help us as listeners and viewers do what we feel we’re all trying to do, which is making sense of our lives through the stories of others.
"That’s why we chose the name Echo, to echo back an idea, a challenge, something that resonates through all of us."

Hollywood madam HEIDI FLEISS has been accused of causing $30,000 (£15,000) of damages to a rented house in Nevada.
The one-time girlfriend of actor Tom Sizemore is alleged to have trashed the Nye County property before moving out in early March (08), leaving her two pet cats behind in the wreckage.
According to TMZ.com, Fleiss had been renting the $1,000 (£500)-a-month house for the last two and a half years, but left it in such a state, neighbours and county officials have been sending written complaints to the owner demanding the mess be cleaned up.
A spokesperson for Fleiss has yet to comment on the allegations.

ELISHA CUTHBERT’s sportsman ex-boyfriend SEAN AVERY has blasted reports connecting him to the prostitution scandal that brought down New York Governor ELIOT SPITZER.
The 27-year-old New York Rangers ice hockey star is one of 2,000 names in an address book that newspaper New York Daily News claims belongs to madam Kristin Davis. Spitzer is also alleged to have used Davis’ services.
But Avery insists he has never even met Davis or visited any prostitutes, and claims his name may have been given to the madam by an enemy.
Avery - who dated 24 star Cuthbert until August last year (07) and counts model Rachel Hunter among his exes - tells the New York Daily News, "This assertion is false and defamatory. I was never a client of Ms. Davis, nor of any prostitute." Davis has backed up Avery’s claim, insisting she has never had any contact with him.

DIRTY SEXY MONEY star SAMAIRE ARMSTRONG has slammed reports she’s been fired from the hit TV show after suffering "personal issues" last year (07) insisting her role is a recurring one.
The former The O.C. star checked into an "outpatient facility" in October (07) to tackle unknown personal problems, and her absence from the set sparked rumours her character Juliet Darling would be written out of the TV drama altogether.
But Armstrong, 27, has dismissed the reports, claiming she will continue to appear on the show on a part-time basis.
Her spokesperson tells People.com, "The actress will therefore be free to pursue other projects in film and on television."

GIRLS ALOUD star NADINE COYLE has dismissed reports she is battling an eating disorder - insisting her weight fluctuates naturally.
The slender star has recently been the centre of speculation that she is suffering from anorexia, after she was photographed looking particularly gaunt last month (Mar08).
But Coyle, 22, has slammed the reports, claiming they promote a negative body image to impressionable young girls.
She says, "You don’t remain the same weight throughout the year. My weight fluctuates by half a stone. I’m a (British) size 6-8.
"I don’t like being too skinny. I was really skinny and underdeveloped growing up, and at school other kids would say, ‘Oh you’re anorexic.’ "I just don’t want the wrong impression to be given to girls that I have an eating disorder because I really don’t."

British rockers RAGING SPEEDHORN to split after 10 years together.
The band have cancelled a planned U.K. tour due to kick off in April (08), but will still perform dates across Europe over the summer and make play a final gig for fans in October (08).
A statement reads, "So sorry to anyone who has bought tickets for the shows we had booked in April, but we’ve had to cancel the tour. We will be doing our final-ever U.K. shows in October, where we will make sure it’s a proper send off.
"We are sad that it has come to this but we have decided to split up after this year and we didn’t want out final U.K. tour to be half-arsed sham."

What’s Cooking With Jazze features the beatmaker showing off his culinary skills with a different celebrity guest each week, according to AllHipHop.com.
The internet shows kicked off on Monday (31Mar08), with Jazze Pha creating a pizza measuring six feet (1.82 meters) in diameter - complete with pork chops as a topping.

American rockers STILL REMAINS have announced they will split in July (08).
The Michigan-based band are performing dates across the U.S. throughout April (08), but the bandmembers will go their separate ways after a performance at the Cornerstone Festival in Illinois on 8 July (08).
However, the group insists their parting is completely amicable.
A statement posted online reads, "Dear friends, fans, and family, this is a goodbye letter from us to you. We will be seeing most of you again I’m sure but not from on stage. We’ve decided to make this headlining tour our last as Still Remains and Cornerstone Festival our last show.
"We want to thank all of the wonderful loving people we’ve met in the past few years for being there for us. It’s been an amazing run but we are done for personal reasons. No, we don’t hate each other or want to punch each other in the face. It’s just time for us to move on to different things in our lives.

Rockers CARIBOU were forced to cancel their Washington D.C. concert on Sunday (30Mar08) after drummer BRAD WEBER broke his wrist hours before the gig was due to take place.
Weber sustained the injury after falling from a ladder - just weeks after recovering from another separate injury he received back in February (08).
As a result, the band had to pull the gig at the city’s Rock and Roll Hotel, and further gigs are now in jeopardy while Weber recovers.
However, the group is attempting to find a replacement for Weber in a bid to continue with their planned concerts, reports Pitchforkmedia.com.

LATEST: R&B singer SEAN LEVERT had to be physically restrained by prison guards because he was "out of control" shortly before he collapsed and died.
The 39-year-old son of The O’Jays star Eddie Levert collapsed in his cell at Cuyahoga County Jail on Sunday (30Mar08) night and was taken to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
He was being held behind bars after allegedly failing to pay $80,000 (£40,000) in child support to the mother of his kids.
Now website TMZ.com is reporting that Levert had been "hallucinating" late on Sunday, and had to be strapped to a restraining chair because prison staff were convinced he posed a danger to himself and others.
Jail warden Kevin McDonough claims Levert co-operated with staff and "went willingly" when he was taken from his cell to have his wrists bound and feet shackled.
The Cuyahoga County Coroner has admitted there were no signs of physical trauma on Levert’s body and his death is not considered suspicious. He is believed to have suffered from high blood pressure, but jail officials claim they were unaware of any health condition he may have had.
They are currently waiting on results from toxicology tests to determine Levert’s exact cause of death.
Sean’s death is the second to hit the Levert family in two years - his brother, R&B legend Gerald Levert, passed away in November 2006, aged 40, following an accidental drug overdose.
In a statement released on Monday night (31Mar08), the Levert family says, "There is no song that can capture the loss that we have in our hearts."

Pop star LILY ALLEN has blamed the commercial failure of her new TV talkshow on the studio where it was filmed - vowing to change locations for the next season.
The Smile singer filmed her TV debut - Lily Allen and Friends - at Pinewood Studios in Hertfordshire, England, 30 miles (48 kilometres) west of London.
The programme was deemed a flop after it failed to attract high enough ratings, with its first episode only scoring 255,000 viewers - just two per cent of the potential audience.
But Allen, 22, is convinced that moving the show to a central London venue will help boost ratings for the second series, which has just been commissioned by British TV channel BBC Three.
She tells British magazine New!, "The type of audience that loves me will travel to a club in London but won’t travel all that way outside of London to a studio.
"Pinewood also lacks atmosphere because its so cavernous."

A New York travel company is handing SEX AND THE CITY fans the chance to live like the stars of the show for five days, at a cost of $24,000 (£12,000).
Devotees with deep pockets will be flown into Manhattan, whisked around the city on shopping sprees and taken to the nightclubs that inspired the show.
The deal coincides with the forthcoming Sex And The City movie, and participants will be given tickets to the premiere.

Actress DENISE RICHARDS refuses to discuss weight issues in front of her children, because she fears they will pick up on her body image worries.
The 37-year-old has daughters Sam, four, and Lola, two, with ex-husband Charlie Sheen, and is determined to make sure they both grow up without worrying about their weight.
Richards is convinced she can set them a good example by never complaining about "feeling fat" and introducing them to her healthy exercise regime at an early age.
She says, "I’ll never talk about weight around them. And they’ll never hear me say, ‘Mommy’s feeling fat today.’ That kind of attitude just makes young girls grow up to be dissatisfied with their bodies.
"Working out is part of my life, not just an I-have-to-get-ready-for-a-photo-shoot thing. I exercise almost every day. The girls usually play in the workout room with me, so they’re learning by example."

Late broadcaster ALISTAIR COOKE’s daughter testified on Monday (31Mar08) at the trial of the man accused of stealing and chopping up her father’s body.
Chris Aldorasi is charged with being part of a group who dismembered bodies at funeral homes and sold them for transplants and medical testing.
Aldorasi and the group’s alleged ringleader Michael Mastromarino stand accused of forging consent forms to obtain the bodies.
Cooke’s body was taken by the group after his death in 2004, at the age of 95. His daughter Susan Kittredge told a New York court that her father would never have allowed his body to be cut up and donated, and she didn’t sign consent forms, which bore the signature of a fictitious Susan Quint.
Aldorasi claims he was duped by Mastromarino. The case continues.
Cooke was born in Britain, but spent most of his adult life in America. He was most famous in his native U.K. for his Letters From America radio series.

PETER O’TOOLE has slammed London theatre because artistic directors have turned the West End into "dross".
The outspoken 75-year-old thespian is unimpressed with modern musicals and plays in the capital, accusing directors of ruining the art of acting.
He rages, "Acting today is s**t. London theatre is a graveyard and it’s all because of this whole invention of the director. The power of the actor has been taken away.
"There are only three indispensable things: the audience, the actor and the author. The rest is dross."
