MOS DEF TO PLAY BERRY
Rapper-turned-actor MOS DEF is set to take on the character of legendary rocker CHUCK BERRY in forthcoming biopic movie CADILLAC RECORDS.
The movie is set in 1950’s Chicago and follows the turbulent lives of Chess Records co-founder Leonard Chess, and the label’s artists, including Waters, Little Walter, Howlin’ Wolf, Etta James and Willie Dixon .
Mos Def most recently acted with funnyman Jack Black in Michel Gondry’s comedy Be Kind Rewind and the upcoming Eddie Murphy comedy Meet
