MARTIN’S TEARS AT RAPE SHELTER

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 3:24 am

LATEST: Singer RICKY MARTIN was reduced to tears during a charity trip to Cambodia when a teenage rape victim performed a song she wrote about her attack.
The star spent time with children affected by sexual assault at a shelter in Siem Reap, working for his Ricky Martin Foundation.
After he was serenaded by young residents of the shelter - Martin told them, "I’m not going to stop. All of you are my heroes. You are a gift of my life." In February (08), Martin learned of Cambodia’s child trafficking problems during a three-day United Nations conference in Vienna. He joined actress Emma Thompson and Egyptian first lady Suzanne Mubarak in calling for action.
