RATCHET KING ARRESTED FOR DRUG DEALING
Up-and-coming rapper RATCHET KING has been arrested after he was caught allegedly selling crack cocaine to an undercover agent.
The hip-hop star, real name Anthony Mandigo, was taken into police custody on Tuesday (25Mar08) after a drugs bust with DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) agents outside a pharmacy in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Arresting cops found two-and-a-half ounces (71 grams) of crack cocaine on King and officers discovered a further 17.6 ounces (500 grams) of crack and powder cocaine at his apartment.
Police have reason to believe King is one of the local drug kingpins, and claim he has also been involved in trafficking drugs into the city.
Ratchet King is the CEO of independent label Lava House Records.
