PARIS HILTON is building a private nightclub in the basement of her new Hollywood Hills home.
The socialite is currently renovating the sprawling five-bedroom mansion she recently purchased for $6 million (£3 million), and the revamp includes her very own discotheque.
The club will have its own entrance and will hold 200 people, according to U.S. magazine In Touch.
A pal tells the publication Hilton wants her club to "look like a Parisian speakeasy, with lots of gold fixtures and black furniture." Hilton is also planning to turn another space in the mansion into a recording studio, where she’ll record her second album.

BRITNEY SPEARS’ critically-acclaimed TV appearance in HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER has landed her the chance to hit the West End stage in London.
The troubled singer has been offered the lead role in a forthcoming London production of Tennessee Williams’ play A Streetcar Named Desire.
A show insider tells Britain’s Daily Star newspaper, "She has poise, timing and a real flair. We’d wanted her for Blanche because even though she’s technically too young to play her, who else could embody this fallen southern belle so well? "She’s living out the story, so to harness that on stage would be amazing for an audience to see - and cathartic for Britney too." Spears isn’t the only new mum who is being considered for the Blanche DuBois role; Halle Berry is also among the front-runners to land the role, according to reports.

MADONNA has further fuelled reports she is to hit the road to support the upcoming release of her new LP HARD CANDY, after rumours of a new tour schedule featuring three concert dates surfaced online.
The Material Girl is set to release her 11th studio album on 28 April (08), and internet reports claim she will perform exclusive shows in New York, London and Paris to celebrate the new project.
The gigs appear on music website BrooklynVegan.com; the site claims the queen of pop will perform in New York on the day of the album’s release, in Paris on 6 May (08) and in London on 10 May (08).

THE OFFICE star JOHN KRASINSKI is bidding to add businessman to his resume - he wants to open a Dunkin’ Donuts franchise.
Since moving to Los Angeles to star in the U.S. version of the British sitcom and launch a movie career, the Massachusetts native is missing the fast-food chain’s coffee - because the nearest branch is 390 miles (620 kilometres) away in the California state capital Sacramento.
He reveals, "It’s my dream to open an Dunkin’ Donuts. You can’t beat the coffee. I Googled it once and the nearest one is in Sacramento. I think we can do better than that. I’m going to open one."

Supermodel ELLE MACPHERSON has been unveiled as the new brand ambassador for cosmetics giant Revlon Inc.

The unlicensed plastic surgeon who smuggled low-grade silicon into America from Argentina for Botox-like injections on celebrities has been arrested and threatened with deportation.
Dr. Daniel Serrano, who worked on Priscilla Presley among others, recently spent 15 months behind bars for smuggling a non-approved drug into the U.S. and injecting it into the faces of Hollywood’s rich and famous.
And now he’s on the verge of being kicked out of America.
TMZ.com reports Serrano is being held without bond at Mira Loma Detention Center in California.
He was arrested on Wednesday (26Mar08) by U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement officials.

THE ROLLING STONES rocker CHARLIE WATTS considered storming out of the premiere for the band’s documentary SHINE A LIGHT - because he hates watching footage of his youth.
The Martin Scorsese-directed movie premiered at the Berlin Film Festival in Germany last month (Feb08) and all four Stones attended the screening.
But 66-year-old Watts despises Shine A Light’s nostalgic clips from the rockers’ 1960s heyday.
However, the drummer insists he still enjoyed the film.
Watts says, "He (Scorsese) uses a bit of flashback which I don’t really like much, ‘cos I don’t like seeing myself 40 years ago saying something stupid.
"To look at, it’s great. Mick (Jagger) looks fantastic." He adds, "You can’t get up and leave ‘cos everyone’s looking at you. So we had to sit through it, but actually about five minutes from the end I thought, ‘OK, that’s enough.’"

Rapper T.I. is to plead guilty to illegal weapons charges after reaching a deal with prosecutors, according to reports.
T.I. was arrested in October (07) while allegedly trying to buy unregistered machine guns and silencers.
He faces counts for possession of unregistered machine guns and silencers, and possession of firearms by a convicted felon.
The Bring ‘Em Out star - real name Clifford Harris Jr. - who has been under house arrest in Georgia since November (07), had previously protested his innocence and was confident he would be cleared of all charges when his case goes before a U.S. jury.
But, according to new internet reports, T.I. will enter a guilty plea when he appears in an Atlanta, Georgia court on Thursday (27Mar08), in exchange for 12 months behind bars and 1,500 hours of community service.
However, the alleged deal will need the approval of U.S. District Judge Charles Pannell Jr., who is overseeing the case.
If the deal is not signed off and the 27-year-old is convicted of the charges, he faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 (£125,000) fine for each count.

LATEST: Rapper REMY MA faces up to 25 years in jail after she was found guilty of shooting of a woman outside a New York nightclub last year (07).
During the trial, the hip-hop star - real name Remy Smith - admitted pulling the trigger and causing serious injury to Makeda Barnes-Joseph during a July 2007 dispute over money, but claimed the gun had gone off by accident during a scuffle.
But a New York Superior Court jury on Thursday (27Mar08) found her guilty of two counts of first degree assault, attempted coercion and criminal possession of a weapon.
Smith was cleared of five other charges, including gang assault and witness tampering.
She now faces a minimum of five years behind bars when she is sentenced at a later date - but the convictions mean she could be sentenced to up to 25 years in jail.

The former Baywatch beauty still has a series of marks on her arm, where the blood-suckers attached themselves to her - and she showed them off to talk show host Craig Ferguson on his show on Monday (26Mar08).

Italian porn star-turned-politician CICCIOLINA is suing her ex-husband for $2.3 million (£1.15 million) in child support for the son she kidnapped from him 10 years ago.
In 1998, the 56-year-old former Italian member of parliament smuggled Ludwig, her son with multimillionaire Jeff Koons, from New York to Italy - before their custody battle over the then five-year-old had been concluded.
A subsequent court battle in Italy granted Cicciolina - real name Ilona Staller - custody. Her lawsuit claims Koons was ordered to pay $22,000 (£11,000) a month to support his child, but has contributed a total of just $250,000 (£125,000) in 10 years.
Staller found fame in 1987 after swapping hardcore pornography for politics when she was elected to the Italian parliament.

Moviemaker SIMON FELLOWS will no longer set his forthcoming remake of LEWIS CARROLL’s classic ALICE IN WONDERLAND in Sunderland, England - due to lack of funding.
The film starring Mischa Barton - initially called Malice In Sunderland - was due to be shot in the city in north east England, but a $500,000 (£250,000) funding shortfall forced the picture’s bosses to relocate.
Now Southend in Essex, south east England, has been named as the new setting and the film has been retitled Malice in Wonderland.
In the movie, Barton will play an American student who, having been hit by a London taxi, finds herself disoriented in a strange city.
Producer Albert Martinez-Martin, says, "There is no problem with Sunderland at all, the reasons being we have been looking at locations which are offering help in terms of funding.
"There is about £250,000 which we have lined up from Screen East in Southend and we are looking at locations there right now." But the move has upset Tom Harvey, the chief executive of Northern Film and Media, the company which was due to work on the movie with Fellows and Martinez-Martin.
He says, "I think it is very sad it can’t shoot in the north-east.
"We have over a £1 million ($500,000) to spend but that goes on local people.
In this region, talent that lives and works here is more important than productions companies coming in."

Troubled stuntman STEVE-O’s fiancee BRITNEY has called off their wedding after media reports claimed he had snorted drugs and tried to pick up women at a party, just days before he checked into hospital.
An American tabloid printed pictures on Wednesday (26Mar08) of the star appearing to snort a white powder from a woman’s leg, images it claims were taken at a 9 March (08) bash.
A partygoer told the magazine Steve-O - real name Stephen Glover - "was so wasted. He was hitting on random girls and asking to snort off their breasts." But the Jackass star has hit back, blaming the media "lies" for the breakdown of his relationship.
Writing in his blog from Los Angeles Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he is currently being treated for mental health problems following an alleged suicide attempt, he says, "The stories that are circulating right now about me being at some party hitting on random girls and asking to snort drugs from their breasts are not true at all. I will be the first to admit that I’ve snorted all kinds of drugs, in all sorts of situations, but I take offence to claims that I was running around hitting on random women at a time when I was under the impression that I was engaged to be married.
"I’m a tough guy, with very thick skin, but that doesn’t mean I take kindly to being lied about, especially when it comes to behaviour that took place after I asked someone to marry me and before I was informed, by the girl I asked to marry me, that she had completely changed her mind about getting married."

JACKASS star STEVE-O’s arraignment on felony drug charges has been postponed until next month (Apr08) after the stuntman skipped his Los Angeles court date on Wednesday (26Mar08).
The troubled 33-year-old - real name Stephen Glover - was charged with possession of cocaine after his 3 March (08) arrest on suspicion of vandalising his neighbours’ property in L.A.
Just days after the incident, Steve-O checked himself into L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he is currently receiving treatment following a reported suicide attempt.
While Steve-O was not present for the Los Angeles Superior Court hearing on Wednesday, he was represented by his lawyer Barry Sands.
And Judge James Banco took pity on the star’s current health status and set a new arraignment date for 23 April (08).
However, Steve-O’s absence meant he had to forfeit his $10,000 (£5,000) bail.
Attorney Sands says, "(He’s) doing great. He’s been in the hospital for two weeks. He voluntarily checked himself in. But he will be at the next court hearing."

Retired supermodel and TV host TYRA BANKS has dismissed reports she is to leave her reality show AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL.
The former catwalk beauty was rumoured to be quitting the hit series after a number of fights with fellow mentor Jay Manuel and the pair are reportedly "not speaking".
It was also alleged Banks’ stint on America’s Next Top Model was "detracting" her from her "big plans" to focus on her chatshow, The Tyra Banks Show.
But Banks’ spokesperson insists the reports are wildly inaccurate.
The representative tells Usmagazine.com: "The rumours about Tyra leaving and the fight with Jay are not true!"
