JAY-Z ‘NOT TO BLAME’ FOR LOW GLASTONBURY TICKETS SALES

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:36 pm

Rapper SHAWN ‘JAY-Z’ CARTER is not to blame for poor ticket sales at a U.K.
music festival, according to the event’s organiser.
The hip-hop star was blamed for a downturn in ticket registrations for this summer’s (08) Glastonbury festival, because regular attendees prefer to hear music by British bands.
But Glastonbury festival organiser Emily Eavis insists tickets are down on last year’s (07) figures because of the bad weather at the festival in recent years.
She says, "I’m sure it’s because of the weather. People only remember the last festival, so if it was really muddy… I don’t blame them, to be honest.
Everybody needs a rest."
