YOUNG BUCK’S MANAGER DENIES ROYALTY RUMOURS
YOUNG BUCK’s manager SHA MONEY XL has blasted reports the rapper is still awaiting his first royalty payment for his work with label G-Unit Records.
The hip-hop star was quoted bemoaning the fact he’d "never seen a royalty check" since signing with 50 Cent’s imprint, which has released two Young Buck albums - 2004’s Straight Outta Cashville and 2007’s Buck The World.
However, Sha Money claims the quotes were fabricated, insisting G-Unit has paid Young Buck $10 million (£5 million) to date.
He tells Allhiphop.com, "There has been a new rumour going around that 50 Cent has not paid Young Buck any royalties.
"I, as Buck’s manager and as former President of G-Unit Records want to make it clear: that is false. Young Buck has cleared over $10 million dollars working under 50 Cent’s and my guidance.
"We don’t know if a writer waited two months on the interview to stir up some new drama or just took his words wrong, but Buck is waving the G-Unit flag strong."
