STONE: ‘I’D GIVE UP MUSIC FOR LOVE’
British soul singer JOSS STONE would quit the music industry to be with her man if she was faced with an ultimatum.
The unlucky in love Spoiled singer insists she would abandon her career for a "solid relationship" following the heartbreak she suffered when her stormy romance with Beau Dozier, son of Motown producer Lamont Dozier, ended.
The 20-year-old’s relationship with the singer/songwriter, who she met when she was just 16, ended after 18 months - and although she claimed they were in love at the time, she now admits the romance was just "infatuation".
She says, "You know what? I’d give up fame tomorrow for a solid relationship.
"Looking back now, I wonder if it really was love between Beau and me. I think it must have been deep infatuation based on lust."
