EASY RIDER PRODUCER ‘KILLS HIMSELF’
EASY RIDER producer BILL HAYWARD has died from a self-inflicting gunshot wound, according to police.
Authorities say the 66-year-old fired a handgun into his heart in his trailer in Castaic, California on 9 March (08).
His body has since been cremated and a memorial service is due to take place in April (08).
Hayward is best known for working on Dennis Hopper’s Easy Rider, the 1969 counter-cultural classic.
