SIXX FINDS LOVE WITH TATTOOIST VON DRACHENBERG
MOTLEY CRUE rocker NIKKI SIXX is dating America’s most famous female tattoo artist, KAT VON DRACHENBERG.
The bassist, who split from his wife Donna D’Errico in May 2006 after nearly 10 years of marriage, has been friends with divorcee Von Drachenberg since last summer (07).
Sixx admits he remained close to his new love, even after she became engaged to Roy Orbison’s son, and Whitestarr drummer, Alex in January (08).
Von Drachenberg, who fronts U.S. TV show L.A. Ink, and Orbison have since called off their engagement and the tattooist is now dating Sixx.
Sixx tells Blabbermouth.net, "Yes, Kat and myself are together. Yes, we’ve been ‘just’ friends since last summer. She was going through a brutal divorce (as was I) and we were friends.
"Along the way, she met a great guy and we were friends through that too.
They broke up and we were still ‘just’ friends… I’ve never had a friend become the girl."
