LATEST: GIRLS GONE WILD creator JOE FRANCIS has withdrawn his $1 million (£500,000) offer to the prostitute who brought down New York Governor ELIOT SPITZER - because she has already bared all for his DVD franchise.
Francis, who was recently released from jail in Florida, wanted Ashley Alexandra Dupre to pose for a Girls Gone Wild photo spread, appear on a GGW DVD and tour.
The deal came just days after Hustler boss Larry Flynt offered Dupre the same cash to pose naked for his porn magazine.
But Francis has now changed his mind and retracted the big money offer after his GGW employees unearthed video footage from 2003 featuring Dupre stripping off on a dancefloor.
He then planned to release the footage on the internet - but the idea has been thwarted by Dupre’s lawyer, Don Buchwald, who claims the call girl was just 17 at the time of the shoot - not 18 as Francis had previously claimed.
In an email to one of Francis’ publicists, Buchwald says he was "informed by Ashley that the video was in fact taken when she was underage (17)".
Buchwald also accuses Francis of having prior knowledge about Dupre’s real age, adding: "It was because she was underage that he sent her home on a Greyhound bus back to North Carolina. It would be outrageous at the very least to play the video of an underage female on the Internet." Dupre features on seven full-length tapes, some of which contain nudity - but Francis insists she had signed legal papers stating she was over 18 before taking part in the filming.
An investigation into the incident has now been launched by the Girls Gone Wild company, because it is "corporate policy" not to use underage models in their videos.
However, Francis will not face any legal trouble in relation to the matter, because it is only illegal in Florida to have lewd or lascivious acts commited upon or in the presence of those under 16.

The magistrate presiding over the inquest into DANIEL SMITH’s death has ruled out homicide - and has banned the jury from choosing the option.
Daniel died from a suspected drug overdose three days after his mother Anna Nicole Smith gave birth to her daughter Dannielynn in September 2006.
The Bahamian court’s jury has heard testimony from Anna Nicole’s former lovers Larry Birkhead and Howard K. Stern and a number of Smith’s friends.
The inquest also heard that Daniel was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital for misuse of valium in July 2006.
On Thursday (20Mar08), the magistrate told the jury to discuss four possible options as the cause of death - accident, misadventure, non-dependent drug use and an open verdict.
According to website TMZ.com, the jury will deliberate on 31 March (08).

Singer ROISIN MURPHY is refusing to rule out a MOLOKO reunion, despite the heartbreak she suffered when her romance with bandmate MARK BRYDON ended.
The Overpowered star and Brydon started dating before forming Moloko, but, by 2003, they had split and she was forced to undertake promotional duties alone, which made her feel terrible.
Murphy admits she was an emotional wreck at the time, because she missed spending her days with her ex-boyfriend.
However, the couple are still on friendly terms - and Murphy sees no reason why they couldn’t make music as Moloko again in the future.
She tells WENN, "I would never say never. I know myself if I said, ‘No, I’ll never do that again,’ five, 10 years down the line I’ll end up f**king doing it and you’ll come back and say, ‘Ahhh - you said you’d never do it,’ so I’m not going to say I’ll never do it." When asked if she missed her bandmates after Moloko split, she replies, "I did to begin with. I kinda missed them more after I broke up with Mark and was still in love. I missed having someone with me when we were doing interviews and the promo and all that kinda stuff.
"To be fair, he did try to do the promo but it just didn’t make sense - we were too miserable together at that point.
"But I miss Mark Brydon, he’s a top geezer."

TOM PETTY’s original rock band, MUDCRUTCH, will mark its comeback with a series of California shows, ending with a four-night run at the Troubadour in Los Angeles.
The Free Fallin’ rocker formed the group in his native Gainesville, Florida with pals Tom Leadon and Randall Marsh in the early 1970s.
The group became a cult live act in Petty’s home state but never released an album.
Last year (07), Petty reformed the group and recorded an album in just two weeks, and now Mudcrutch has a series of dates scheduled, beginning with a benefit in Malibu, California on 12 April (08).
The shows will wrap up with a four-night stint at the fabled Troubadour in West Hollywood at the end of next month.

Singer/songwriter DARYL HALL has launched a bitter tirade against the music industry - branding the business "corrupt".
The 61-year-old shot to fame in the late 1970s as one half of music duo Hall & Oates, and has since found success as a solo artist, but his long-running career has left him wary of showbusiness and music executives.
Hall insists his life was made miserable by "asshole A&R people" and "media bulls**t" and is embracing the digital age, as he believes modern technology will give artists more freedom from the music industry hierarchy.
He says, "I think it’s a really interesting time to be in the world of music because I have always hated the establishment. I dealt with it my whole f**king career and I hated it - all that bulls**t that is really irrelevant to creativity.
"Kissing the arse of f**king programme directors at radio stations and trying to please asshole A&R people at record companies, none of whom know anything.
They’re all corrupt jerk-offs - every one of them.
"And dealing with pompous know-nothing journalists, who have a mixture of cynicism and naivety - a lethal concoction."

Hip-hop superstar SHAWN ‘JAY-Z’ CARTER has fired back at reports claiming he has been asking record companies for "way too much" money to launch his self-titled label.
The 99 Problems rapper quit his post as president of Def Jam Records in December (07) and was alleged to be planning to start his own venture on another label.
He has since been linked to Warner Music Group and computer company Apple as he bids to launch Carter Music Group, but neither reported deals have come into fruition.
And, according to an industry insider, the label failures are down to Carter’s demands for money.
The source tells PageSix.com, "(He wanted) way too much. He wants a label to give him $100 million for the Carter Music Group and provide for overhead, development and digital investment. It’s crazy.
"He wants the labels to basically be his venture capital fund, but, unlike a venture cap, they won’t get 50 per cent." But a representative for Carter insists the reports are untrue, disgarding them as "rumours".

Teen sensation MILEY CYRUS has found herself at the centre of a health scandal.
A new report suggests select Hannah Montana-branded merchandise poses a potential risk of lead poisoning to young fans.
The findings by researchers at the non-governmental agency the Center for Environmental Health (CEH) caused a stir in the U.S. earlier this week (begs17Mar08) when they were first published.
Researchers purchased a variety of Hannah Montana-related items - including the Girls Rock and Undercover Pop Star backpacks, the Secret Star wallet and the slumber tote - in February (08) and tested the made-in-China products for lead, using "an X-ray fluorescence analyser".
And they claim several items contained above the "federal standard for lead in paint (600 parts per million)", while others proved to contain "lead concentrations above the American Academy of Pediatrics’ recommended level (40 parts per million)" - all of which were found in the "vinyl parts" of the products.
CEH officials are now looking into whether the products are in violation of California’s Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 before deciding whether or not to take action.
A spokesperson from Disney, the company behind the Hannah Montana franchise, has refused to comment directly on the case, but says, "We require all licensed producers of products using Disney characters to test their products and to comply with all applicable product safety laws and standards." A representative for Cyrus has yet to comment on the report.
The American Academy of Pediatrics has labelled lead a "serious threat to children’s health" and reiterates that there is "no ’safe’ level of lead exposure" of the mineral, which can lead to neurological damage and kidney and heart disease.

BEACH BOYS star MIKE LOVE has finally reached an agreement with former bandmate AL JARDINE in a legal dispute over the group’s name - five years after launching the lawsuit.
Love initially filed suit in 2003 after objecting to Jardine touring as Beach Boys Family & Friends and Al Jardine of the Beach Boys.
A federal judge ruled in Love’s favour, citing violation of copyright laws, and the singer was declared the only member of the ageing rockers who could legally perform under the band’s name.
But the latest legal action was in response to the estimated $2.2 million (£1.1 million) in attorney’s fees Love was requesting from Jardine, in relation to their previous 2003 legal battle.
However, they have now settled the dispute, reports TMZ.com.
The details of the settlement are confidential and have not been released to the press. Both parties are said to be happy with the deal.

R&B singer CHRIS BROWN has dismissed reports he is dating UMBRELLA hitmaker RIHANNA, insisting he is "definitely single".
Brown, 18, and the 20-year-old Bajan beauty have been linked for months, but both stars have continually denied rumours they are romantically involved, despite the couple being snapped frolicking in a swimming pool while on vacation in Jamaica last month (Feb08).
And Brown claims he has even been receiving threats from his female fans accusing him of lying about his relationship with Rihanna.

GEORGE CLOONEY will follow in the footsteps of his relatives when he attends the LEATHERHEADS premiere in Kentucky on Monday night (24Mar08).
The 46-year-old will return to Maysville in his native state for the opening of his new movie at the Washington Opera Theatre - 55 years after his aunt Rosemary Clooney’s own film, The Stars Are Singing, premiered in the town.

HOUSE star OLIVIA WILDE has been signed up to star in a new comedy film in the style of MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL.
Wilde has been cast alongside funnyman Jack Black and Superbad star Michael Cera in Year One, which has been scripted by Ghostbusters writer and star Harold Ramis.
The movie - due for release next summer (09) - will attempt to recapture the spirit of the original Monty Python films including The Holy Grail and The Life Of Brian.
And Wilde is delighted to be involved in the project as she has long been a fan of the legendary British comedy group.
She says, "The script is so funny. I’m a huge Monty Python fan, and it’s definitely got Python-esque humour. It’s over-the-top, but smart. Michael Cera and Jack Black are searching for the meaning of life."

KILL BILL star VIVICA A. FOX is set to become a celebrity stylist for a new reality TV show.
The actress will front Glam God with Vivica A. Fox, a VH1 series that will pit wannabe celebrity stylists against each other.
VH1 executive vice president Jeff Olde says, "Vivica is a movie star and a fashion icon who knows how to step onto the red carpet and nail it every single time.
"Her instincts are impeccable and she knows how critical it is to have a ‘glam god’ she can trust to create a star-making killer look. British TV actor BRIAN WILDE has died. He was 86.
The star died in his sleep at his Hertfordshire, England home on Thursday (20Mar08).
Wilde was famed for starring in British TV series Last Of The Summer Wine and Porridge.
His agent Nick Young says, "He will be sadly missed by colleagues and family alike. He brought a great deal of laughter into many people’s lives."

Troubled JACKASS star STEVE-O has credited his time in rehab with allowing him to accept his "imperfections and all".
The stuntman is currently being held at Los Angeles Ceders-Sinai Medical Center, where he has been placed on a 14-day hold, while medics observe his condition and behaviour.
But the star admits he has found a new lease on life at the centre.
In his latest blog from what he calls the "nut house", he writes: "There is more to me than the act of scrotum-stapling.
"I had never seen the tolls that my years have taken on my flesh so vividly.
Pretty wild to wait until you’re hidden away in the ‘nut house’ to become self-conscious about the way you look.

Oscar winner JAVIER BARDEM has denounced his newfound status as a sex symbol insisting people only find him attractive because he is a movie star.
The No Country For Old Men actor - who is rumoured to be dating Spanish beauty Penelope Cruz - is convinced he is very ordinary-looking and would not be considered so handsome if he had a more mundane job.

Pop trio THE JONAS BROTHERS have landed their own reality TV show with kids network the Disney Channel.
The three hitmaking siblings - Kevin, 20, Joe, 18, and 15-year-old Nick will star in Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream, a documentary which follows them as they travel the world on their Look Me In The Eye concert tour.
The programme will be aired in the U.S. in June (08).

THE ROLLING STONES make an extra effort to pull together to ensure frontman SIR MICK JAGGER feels confident enough to take to the stage, according to his bandmate KEITH RICHARDS.
The legendary rockers let Jagger choose which songs they play at their gigs and even adjust their instruments to accommodate the star and make their hits easier for him to sing.
But Richards insists there is no animosity between the groupmembers and they all do their best to support Jagger - because the singer’s role is so vital to their performances.
He says, "He’s the one who has to go out there and sing it. From the band’s point of view, it’s the frontman that calls the shots on what to sing. He might say, ‘That one’s too high for me tonight, I can’t make it.’ "I might make an adjustment here and there to break it up a bit. Otherwise I just try to make it easier for Mick. A band’s job is to make the frontman feel confident. That’s the whole point of a band. One for all and all for one."
