RIOTS CUT SHORT LIL’ WAYNE GIG

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:59 pm

Rapper LIL’ WAYNE was forced to cut short a U.K. concert after a series of fights broke out in the crowd.
The star - real name Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. - was playing a gig at London’s Stratford Rex but was reportedly forced off the stage early when the audience started throwing glasses at him.
The fights are said to have started at the side of the stage when the VIP area became over-crowded, with at least six scuffles breaking out between frustrated fans.
But the rapper’s security guards failed to calm the tensions and Lil’ Wayne was eventually escorted off stage for his own safety when people started hurling missiles.
A source tells Allhiphop.com, "As he was walking off someone threw a glass at him from the balcony. Then he turned as if to address the crowd, and then about five or six other objects and glasses rained down on the stage… it was a mess!"
