JAGGER WANTED TO READ WOOD’S MEMOIRS BEFORE PUBLICATION

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:38 pm

SIR MICK JAGGER was upset his ROLLING STONES bandmate RONNIE WOOD didn’t offer him the chance to read his autobiography before it was published.
Wood’s memoirs, Ronnie, documents Wood’s hellraising life, and includes fiery anecdotes involving his Rolling Stones colleagues - but he didn’t let any of them read the book until after it was released.
And Jagger would have liked the chance to read the book before it hit book stores in October last year (07).
He says, "I haven’t read it, though he very kindly gave it to me, inscribed, for Christmas (07). In fact, someone else did, too, so I’ve got two copies now.
"To be truthful, I did not receive any advance manuscripts from Ronnie. I think it’s always polite to do that though." Fellow Stones star Keith Richards has already taken aim at Wood’s tome, claiming that only 50 per cent of the anecdotes are correct.
