PARTON: ‘PUT ME BACK ON THE RADIO’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:23 pm

Singing legend DOLLY PARTON has hit out at the country music industry, accusing it of turning its back on her.
The busty star claims she can’t get radio airplay, because the focus is on young and up-and-coming acts.
She tells AOL Music, "Get Dolly Parton back on the radio! Get me back on mainstream! Stop this attitude that older people ain’t any good anymore!" We’re as good as we ever were, if we ever were any good. "But I can’t complain, because I’ve had 30 years of success and have won every award that there is to be had. But still, it’s as new to me as it was when I first started and just as important. So I wish they would treat some of the great artists with the respect that a lot of them deserve."
