10, 000 B.C. REMAINS ATOP GLOBAL BOX OFFICE
Caveman adventure movie 10,000 B.C. has clubbed the competition to score a second week at the top of the international box office chart.
The pre-historic film, directed by Roland Emmerich, remains the most popular film outside the U.S. with takings of $38 million (£19 million) over the weekend (14-16Mar08).
Bienvenue Chez Les Ch’tis, which recently broke French box office records by scoring $39.7 million (£19.85 million) in its first week on release, sits at two with $19 million (£9.5 million).
Jim Carrey’s animated film Horton Hears A Who!, which topped the U.S. weekend box office, is a new entry at three with $14.2 million (£7.1 million).
