Rapper THE GAME is set for a fresh legal battle just days after his release from jail.
The man responsible for putting the rap star behind bars has hit The Game with a civil suit, claiming assault, battery and a civil rights violation, according to TMZ.com.
The Game, real name Jayceon Taylor, pleaded no contest to felony possession of a firearm in a school zone after Shannon Rodrick claimed the rapper approached him with a gun during a fight in the middle of a street basketball game.
He served eight days of a 60-day sentence and was released from Los Angeles’ Twin Towers Correctional Facility on Monday (10Mar08).
