NICOLE KIDMAN’s trainer and assistant has hit the headlines after allegedly beating up a paparazzo in Santa Monica, California.
Flynet.com photographer Jeremy needed medical attention after his violent encounter with David Garris on Thursday (13Mar08), which was partially caught on video.
In the footage, which has been posted online, the trainer is seen approaching Jeremy’s vehicle and attacking the photographer through the window.
The video footage then ends but the audio captures the snapper’s outrage and anguish as Garris allegedly lashes out at him, raging, "You can’t f**king chase me, you’re f**king with me… I’m f**king sick of you guys." Jeremy was trying to get pictures of pregnant Kidman and her trainer hiking when the attack took place.
According to Flynet.com, the trainer reportedly briefly "stole" their photographer’s camera.
Photos of Jeremy’s bruised and battered face after the attack are also featured on the Flynet website.
According to the website, police are currently investigating the incident.

SARAH JESSICA PARKER has confirmed there are plans to make a SEX & THE CITY movie sequel - and it could feature SEAN `DIDDY’ COMBS.
The first film is expected to be one of the year’s big hits when it blasts onto cinema screens this summer (08) and the actress admits she’s already in negotiations for a second movie.
The 42-year-old says, "People are talking to me about it." And Parker is thrilled that rap mogul and designer Combs’ name is being linked to the stylish sequel.

BRITNEY SPEARS is worth $120 million (£60 million) to the U.S. economy, according to big business magazine Portfolio.
After an exhaustive study, the magazine has published statistics that make the troubled star a pop culture icon and a boost to American finances.
Portfolio reports that between January 2006 and July 2007, Spears appeared on the front covers of the leading U.S. tabloids 175 times in 78 weeks, and she has been the number one search subject on website Yahoo! in six of the past seven years.
The magazine also discovered that a Las Vegas nightclub reportedly sold seats next to Spears’ table for $50,000 (£25,000) and the pop star can still earn as much as $400,000 (£200,000) in appearance fees.
The publication also estimates Spears makes a personal fortune of $9 million (£4.5 million)-a-year, and, despite her reported financial woes, has a personal fortune of about $125 million (£62.5 million).

KATE BECKINSALE accidentally set her cat on fire as she prepared for the red carpet at January’s (08) Screen Actor’s Guild awards.
The pet was saved by the actress’s six brave dressers who put out the flames by leaping on the furry inferno.
Beckinsale tells talk show host David Letterman, "We were getting ready for the SAG awards and my husband was lighting some candles. All of a sudden my cat walked past and there was this giant ball of light.
"The six gay men who were helping me get ready jumped on the cat and put it out.
"He’s a very furry Persian cat and he’s stupid, so I don’t think he realised anything had happened. But he lost quite a bit of his tail, and the smell. And I had to go to the SAG awards smelling."

Eastman, moviemaker David Fincher and animator Tim Miller will each direct a segment of the adult sci-fi movie.
Heavy Metal debuted in 1977 and has become a cult comic book series, often featuring an animated version of Eastman’s wife, porn star Julie Strain.

She revealed she is suffering, "morning, day and night sickness", and described some the sticky situations she has found herself in: "I spend so much time in my car in Los Angeles, I had to get something like a travel puke receptacle. I was on the 405 (highway) the other day in traffic. I knew I was going to throw up - and I had my handy Tupperware vomit receptacle.
"I am a safe vomiter. I kept one hand on the wheel." Driver, 38, who has dated Matt Damon and Josh Brolin in the past, has refused to reveal the identity of her unborn baby’s father.

Pregnant actress MINNIE DRIVER is desperate for a baby girl - because her unusual surname would be awful for a boy.
The Riches star announced she is expecting her first child on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Thursday night (13Mar08).
Driver followed the announcement with an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, scheduled to air next week (Begs17Mar08), telling the presenter how friends have been offering unhelpful suggestions for motor vehicle-influenced names.
The 38-year-old says, "I have a pretty silly name. Driver is kind of a hard name to put with a first name, particularly boys names … My friend sent me an email saying I should call the baby Duncan Driver. Then I can call it Dunk Driver, Pile Driver, Rally Driver." The Good Will Hunting star, who has not revealed the identity of the unborn child’s father, adds, "I’m hoping for a girl. I think it’s a girl."

A jury in Glendale, California has cleared two doctors of negligence in the treatment of actor JOHN RITTER.
Ritter’s widow Amy Yasbeck filed a $67 million (£33.5 million) wrongful death lawsuit against a cardiologist and radiologist. The trial has been ongoing for a month.
Ritter, 54, died from a tear in the aorta in September, 2003.

Eco-friendly actor LEONARD DiCAPRIO has added his name to a new campaign to banish junk mail.
The superstar has signed a petition demanding the U.S. Government acts to allow citizens to opt out of unwanted post.
Dubbed Do Not Mail, the campaign is the brainchild of international environmental group ForestEthics.
DiCaprio’s signature on the petition has been joined by fellow stars Adam Grenier, Darryl Hannah and Alicia Silverstone.
Grenier tells PageSix of the cause, "Junk mail is more than an annoying waste of time, it’s a waste of our environment!"

LATEST: Troubled JACKASS star STEVE-O has written a message to fans on his MySpace page from the psychiatric ward of a Los Angeles hospital.
The stuntman reveals pals including former Jackass co-star Johnny Knoxville "physically forced" him to seek help for his mental issues, including bipolar disorder that had left him suffering "high highs and extremely low lows".
After being taken to L.A.’s Thalian Mental Health Center, Steve-O was transferred to the Ceder’s-Sinai Medical Center, where he has been placed on a 14-day hold, while medics observe his condition and behaviour.
In his blog - entitled You Should All Know I’m In The Looney Bin - Steve-O blames his condition on the lasting side effects of years of abusing drugs. He also apologises for the damage his behaviour has caused to loved ones.
The 33-year-old writes, "’Before the day when Johnny Knoxville, Jeff Tremaine, Big Regg, Swizz, Rick Kosick, Dimitry Elyaschevich, Cordell Mansfield, and Trip Taylor came to my home and, physically, forced me into the hospital, I had thought of ‘bipolar’ as a ‘good’ thing. I rationally deduced that, with our time in this life being so limited, it was productive to stick to nothing but extremely high ‘highs’, and extremely low ‘lows.’ "I figured that, since I am an extraordinarily ‘tough’ individual, I could handle it.
"After four days in a psychiatric ward… I am no longer ‘5150-status’ (which was the three-day ‘hold’ on me, resulting from suicidal behaviour). I am now ‘5250-status’ (which means that the ‘hold’ has been extended to 14 days, for the exact same reasons).
"I’m not getting out of this ‘insane asylum’ any time in the immediate future, so, I’m going to learn as much from the experience as possible. So far, I’ve figured out that I did a great deal of damage to my brain by abusing drugs and, now that they’ve all worn off, I’m facing the consequences."

R.E.M. frontman MICHAEL STIPE is on crutches after injuring his foot in a go-karting accident.
The rocker has been left hobbling around New York after getting his limb trapped under a kart.
He tells U.S. magazine Interview, "I was go-kart racing and I had a crash. I was pinned for several minutes under another go-kart and it screwed up my right foot. It’s going to be fine, I’m sure. But man, hobbling around New York City on crutches in the snow and the rain - it’s really something, let me tell you.
"People are nice until they have a few drinks, and then they just run you over. That’s happened to me several times."

Rapper Q-TIP is mourning the demise of hip-hop, because he’s sure the genre is heading for a slow death.
The A Tribe Called Quest star claims rap is destined for the same demise disco suffered, if the latest batch of stars can’t reinvent the musical genre in time.
He tells celebrity fan Leonardo DiCaprio in the latest edition of Interview magazine, "I think it’s pretty evident - and everybody says it - that hip-hop is definitely not as good as it once was. It’s sort of like disco was.
"There was a time when disco was the s**t and Steve Rubell had Studio 54. But the minute you heard Disco Duck by Rick Dees, that was the telltale sign that disco was over. I think that if hip-hop continues on the path that it seems like it’s going down, then it looks like it’s not going to hold up."

British opera singer RUSSELL WATSON is set to embark on a UK tour to celebrate his full recovery from brain surgery last year (07).
The 41-year-old tenor will play at 13 venues across the country this summer (08), just months after undergoing emergency surgery in October (07) after doctors discovered he had fallen victim to a second brain tumour.
Watson - known as The Voice due to his powerful vocals - suffered his first brain tumour in 2006, when doctors operated on the classical music sensation through his nose.
Due to the technique used in his first surgery, doctors were forced to operate on the star through his mouth this time around - sparking fears he would never be able to record or perform again.
However, Watson’s vocal chords were left unscathed by the punishing medical treatment and the star is looking forward to a full workload in 2008, hinting he may even release a new album.
Watson writes on his official blog, "There are all kinds of other plans afoot that I don’t think I can reveal yet. Album (cough)." The UK tour will kick off in Glasgow, Scotland on 9 June (08), before moving to London, Birmingham and Bristol as well as a homecoming gig in his native Manchester, England on 19 June.

Teen star MILEY CYRUS has branded pop-punk rocker NICK JONAS her knight in shining armour - after he helped her battle through the toughest time of her life.
Last year the Hannah Montana sensation received terrible news her best pal had died at the age of 13 from cystic fibrosis, but was unable to pay her respects because she was stuck on a U.S. tour.
The 15-year-old describes that time as her hardest, stating the pain made her go "crazy", but insists the Jonas Brother stars’ wise words were the catalyst in her emotional recovery.
Cyrus - who has denied claims she is secretly dating the 15-year-old Jonas Brother star - says, "Last year I lost one of my closest friends to cystic fibrosis. She was almost 13 and she passed away while I was on tour so I couldn’t go back home when it happened. I kind of went crazy. I couldn’t understand why it had happened and I was really upset.
"I was touring with the Jonas Brothers and Nick said I had to pull myself together and he was right because I was going mad."

QUINCY JONES refuses to take credit for producing MICHAEL JACKSON’s hit album THRILLER, insisting "God" made it.
The music maestro claims he and the star never planned the LP - which this year (08) celebrates its 25th anniversary - and claims God has a hand in every piece of music made.
He tells Interview magazine, "People kill me when they say, ‘How do you sit down and plan to do an album like Thriller?’ Give me a break. You have to let go and let God deal with things.
"As I get older, I realise, about music or whatever, how little we have to do with anything. You write the script and then God comes and rewrites it."
