BEATLES BOOST RATINGS FOR IDOL

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:58 pm

THE BEATLES helped turn Tuesday night’s (11Mar08) AMERICAN IDOL into a ratings spectacular as Fab Four fans tuned in to hear wannabes belt out hits like ELEANOR RIGBY and IN MY LIFE.
After vying for the rights to perform Beatles songs on the TV talent show for the past seven years, producers got the nod for this season and decided to turn Tuesday night’s show into an-all Fab Four feast.
And to prove that Beatlemania is alive and well today, more than 31 million people tuned in to watch finalists sing their favourite songs. (KL/BB/GES) WENN - SIXTH - HOLLYWOOD, SHOWBIZ & PEOPLE NEWS - 12 MARCH 2008
