PAPOOSE DISMISSES REMY MA WEDDING RUMOURS
Rapper PAPOOSE has denied rumours he is engaged to marry fellow hip-hop star REMY MA.
Internet reports surfaced last week (ends07Mar08) alleging the G-Unit affiliate had proposed to the troubled Remy, and that she had accepted.
However, Papoose - real name Shamele Mackie - insists the claims are fabricated.
He tells SOHH.com, "(We) share a friendship. (But) it’s not true. We’re friends." Remy Ma is currently facing 25 years behind bars after being accused of assault, criminal possession of a weapon, gang assault and witness intimidation in relation to the shooting of 23-year-old Makeda Barnes-Joseph outside a New York nightclub last July (07).
She has pleaded not guilty to all charges and is currently standing trial in a New York Supreme Court.
