FRENCH FILM SCORES BOX OFFICE RECORD
Film comedy BIENVENUE CHEZ LES CH’TIS has broken box office records in France by scoring a whopping $39.7 million (£19.8 million) in ticket sales in its first week on release.
The movie, directed by and featuring beloved French funnyman Dany Boon, overtakes 2006 film Les Bronzes 3: Amis Pour La Vie, which grossed almost $28 million (£14 million) in its opening week.
