Jeweller STEPHEN WEBSTER had to rush his plans to capture CHRISTINA AGUILERA for his new ad campaign after learning the singer was pregnant.
The gem mogul had planned a photoshoot for last November (07), but brought the session forward three months when his muse called him from the road to reveal she was with child.
Webster tells Life & Style magazine, "I got a call from her when she was on her world tour in Korea, and she told me she was pregnant.
"We’d originally planned to shoot the campaign in October or November, but we decided that the minute she got back from touring would be the best window of opportunity." Four months pregnant at the time, the singer was already showing when she turned up for the glamorous old Hollywood-style shoot, and so Webster and his photographer decided to shoot Aguilera from an angle where no one would be able to tell.

Actor ROB SCHNEIDER and his producer brother JOHN have been hit with a breach of contract lawsuit by their former collaborator BOB RUBIN.
The Schneider siblings are alleged to have reneged on a verbal agreement with Rubin over his fee for helping them find an investor for the as-yet-unreleased movie The Chosen One.
In court papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday (04Mar08), Rubin claims he secured finances of $9.5 million (£4.75 million) for the comedy in early 2007, for which John had promised him a three per cent take for raising the funds.
But Rubin alleges his take was then reduced to just one per cent of the film’s $8 million (£4 million) budget, meaning payment of $80,000 (£40,000), instead of the $240,000 (£120,000) he was promised.
His lawsuit states: "Having known John Schneider and Robert Schneider for over 23 years, (Rubin) trusted John Schneider’s word." The Schneiders’ longtime collaborator finally agreed to the pay cut, but he allegedly encountered further trouble when he tried to collect the money.
He claims he is still owed $60,000 (£30,000) by the brothers, an amount which has been outstanding since October (07).
He is suing the Schneiders for at least $350,000 (£175,000) in damages, citing breach of contract, fiduciary duty and unjust enrichment.
The Schneiders have yet to comment on the allegations.

Chinese actress BAI LING has been fined $200 (£100) after pleading guilty to disturbing the peace in relation to her recent arrest on suspicion of shoplifting.
The Crow star was picked up by police on 13 February (08) after walking into a terminal gift shop at Los Angeles International Airport and leaving with two magazines and a pack of batteries without paying for the goods, worth just $16.22 (£8.11).
The 37-year-old has since insisted the episode was just part of a "crazy day", blaming the incident on the pressures caused by the "huge problem" of breaking up with her boyfriend just before Valentine’s Day (14Feb08).
Ling was also ordered on Wednesday (05Mar08) by a Los Angeles judge to pay several hundred dollars in fees, including court costs.

BRYAN ADAMS had an unusual way of promoting his songs while he was a struggling rocker - he showcased them to a hitch-hiker.
The Canadian singer reveals how he was once so excited about previewing a new composition, he and and his songwriting partner/drummer Jim Vallance picked up a stranded passer-by just so they could hear her thoughts on the track.
But the stranger wasn’t very impressed.
He recalls, "I remember finishing a song and Jim Vallance and I were driving down the street and we saw somebody hitch-hiking. So we stopped, picked her up and we played her the song. We were so desperate for someone to hear it because we were really excited about it.
"The hitch-hiker - it was a girl I think - was like, ‘OK, that’s very nice, now can you just drop me off here?’"

Danish pop act ALPHABEAT have been forced to start their sophomore album from scratch after thieves stole a laptop containing their new songs.
The Fascination hitmakers’ home in east London was targeted by burglars recently while the sextet were in their native Denmark.
And their new tracks weren’t all the thieves escaped with - they also took thousands of pounds’ worth of pricey recording equipment.
Keyboardist Rasmus Nagel is devastated at the loss, because the songs - which were only recorded versions - are "irreplaceable".
He adds, "We have lost half of our new material."

Actress SALMA HAYEK has revealed she suffered from diabetes during her pregnancy.
The Frida star gave birth to daughter Valentina Paloma in September (07), and has now admitted she suffered from the insulin-deficiency disease while carrying her baby girl.
She tells U.S. magazine Glamour, "I had diabetes while I was pregnant. I became huge. And I said, ‘This is what it takes for me to have this baby, and I really want it.’ "Then you don’t know if it’s going to be healthy; you are completely out of control. So the experience really makes you humble."

Rocker SHERYL CROW has exploded the myth that BRAD PITT dumped then-wife JENNIFER ANISTON to romance ANGELINA JOLIE, insisting her pal ditched the movie hunk - and not the other way around.

ALEC BALDWIN has slammed his own brother in a letter to a leading U.S. gay magazine.
The Cooler star took offence at born-again Christian Stephen’s recent public comments on same-sex marriage, and decided to let the gay community know he doesn’t share his sibling’s beliefs.
Stephen recently called into Howard Stern’s radio show, to lend his support to former U.S. presidential wannabe Mike Huckabee’s campaign - and he added a stinging condemnation of homosexual marriage.
The Usual Suspects star said, "I don’t believe that gay marriage is in line with God’s word, which is found in the Bible… and the Bible says that gay marriage is not acceptable." Brother Alec, who also opposes his Republican brother’s political views, has responded by firing off a letter to gay magazine The Advocate.
He writes, "People like that… they want to ban gay marriage because those people are incapable of having a biological family - that’s their only argument.
"You can ban gay marriage, but if you’re going to make it fair, then you have to ban marriage for everybody else who won’t produce children. But they just single out groups of people that they hate."

The Los Angeles socialite who upset LINDSAY LOHAN by crudely dubbing her ‘fire-crotch’ has been hit by karma while on holiday in Barcelona, Spain.
Brandon Davis was beaten up and robbed by thugs outside a nightclub.
Davis was with his girlfriend, Australian model Cheyenne Tozzi, when the thieves attacked on 23 February (08), according to In Touch magazine.
According to a friend, the thugs stole over $4,000 (£2,000) in cash, credit cards and a $49,000 (£24,500) Audemars Piguet titanium watch from the 28-year-old oil heir.
The pal tells In Touch, "Brandon was beaten, too. He had a black eye and a bloody lip. Brandon was just glad that he wasn’t killed."

LATEST: THE HILLS star HEIDI MONTAG made a tearful speech at her stepbrother’s memorial service on Wednesday (05Mar08), describing the tragic 24 year old as "an amazingly patriotic person".
The reality TV star, accompanied by her boyfriend Spencer Pratt, made her emotional tribute to Eric O’Hara at the service in her hometown of Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
O’Hara died last week (ends29Feb08) after falling from the roof of a hotel while clearing snow.
Montag told the gathered mourners, "I didn’t write anything down today, just couldn’t. Eric was the best brother I could ask for.

MINORITY REPORT star PETER STORMARE is still struggling with a broken nose he picked up on a film set last year (07).
The Swedish-born actor, who played Satan in Keanu Reeves film Constantine, was spotted leaving a plastic surgeon’s office in Beverly Hills, California on Tuesday (04Mar08) with his nose bandaged up.
But his spokeswoman insists Stormare, who has made a career from playing movie villains, hasn’t has a nose job or a face lift, as has been suggested.
She tells WENN, "Peter broke his nose on a film set and he was visiting his doctor to have something fixed internally." The 52-year-old’s actor’s publicist admits the injury is playing havoc with his movie career: "He’s on hiatus."

Former BEVERLY HILLS 90210 star GABRIELLE CARTERIS was left partly paralysed after a choking scene in 2006 movie PAST TENSE went too far.
The 47-year-old actress claims she was left with permanent facial nerve damage following the painful film shoot.
She tells the new issue of People magazine, "I couldn’t move my face… For the first year, I didn’t go out in public." Carteris, who shows off photos of her disfigured face for the first time in the publication, no longer suffers from paralysis, but she still has a speech impediment, which she developed after the film.

LATEST: PATRICK SWAYZE’s doctor has confirmed the actor has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer - but insists he’s not as close to death as reports suggest.
Tabloid and internet reports suggested the Ghost star was fighting for his life and had been given just five weeks to live, but his physician Dr. George Fisher suggests he’s a lot more optimistic about the actor’s recovery.
In a statement issued to WENN on Wednesday (05Mar08), Dr. Fisher says, "Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment thus far.
"All of the reports stating the time frame of his prognosis and his physical side effects are absolutely untrue. We are considerably more optimistic." The Dirty Dancing hunk’s publicist Annett Wolf adds, "Patrick Swayze has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and is currently undergoing treatment.
"Patrick is continuing his normal schedule during this time, which includes working on upcoming projects.
"The outpouring of support and concern he has already received from the public is deeply appreciated by Patrick and his family."

Ex-PAVEMENT star SCOTT KANNBERG hopes to reunite the cult indie act for a one-off performance next year (09).
Just weeks after Pavement frontman Stephen Malkmus dismissed the idea, Kannberg reveals he wants the U.S. group to reteam for a performance at their former label Matador Records’ 20th anniversary party, and is convinced his ex-bandmates will jump at the idea.
He says, "Matador is having a 20th anniversary party soon, so maybe we’ll try to do something for that. The only hurdle might be getting everyone to drop what they’re doing, but I’m sure the excitement of playing again will make it OK." Malkmus ended months of speculation surrounding a 2008 Pavement reunion at summer festivals by insisting he’d never "cheat" on his current band, The Jicks, although he failed to rule out a reunion.
Malkmus said, "I’m 1000 per cent committed to the people I’m working with now. I would never cheat on them and go and do Pavement, it’s not on the cards.

Rocker SCOTT WEILAND has pleaded innocent to drink-driving charges following his November (07) arrest in Los Angeles.
The Velvet Revolver singer entered his plea in a L.A. court through his attorney on Wednesday (05Mar08).
Weiland is free on $40,000 (£20,000) bail and is due back in court for a hearing on 4 April (08).
If convicted, he faces up to one year behind bars because he has a prior conviction for driving under the influence.
He was pulled over by police on 21 November (08) on a Hollywood freeway and was taken into custody after refusing to take a sobriety test.
