Aussie folk-pop sensation SIA has been left hurt by AMY WINEHOUSE after the troubled Brit told her she was too intimidated by her to team up on record.
Sia is a big fan of Winehouse’s music, and approached the Rehab singer over a planned collaboration.
But she had no idea Winehouse would turn her down flat.
Sia says, "I asked Amy Winehouse to do a collaboration and she said, ‘No way.’ And I was like, ‘Why not?’ And she said, ‘I’m intimidated by you. I’ve been listening to you since I was a teenager.’ "I was totally shocked because she’s my favourite contemporary voice." And Sia admits she’s now become Winehouse’s celebrity ’stalker’.
She adds, "I’ve met her a couple of times and I kind of stalk her.
"I’ve got her phone number and whenever I listen to her album and I love it, I text her and say, ‘I’m listening to it again, it’s so good!’ She never responds. She doesn’t really respond to anyone, she doesn’t do e-mail."

JANET JACKSON is under immense pressure from her mother to get married and start a family with boyfriend JERMAINE DUPRI, because she wants to be a grandma again.
The 41-year-old recently confessed her doctor is encouraging her to freeze her eggs to protect her chances of getting pregnant - and she reveals her mother is urging her to listen to her biological clock too.

British actor COLIN FIRTH has dashed the hopes of millions of women looking for their very own MR. DARCY - by insisting the perfect Englishman stereotype is just a myth.
The star frequently plays the quintessential Brit in romantic comedies like Bridget Jones’s Diary and period dramas, including the 1995 TV version of Pride and Prejudice, in which he stars as Mark Darcy, but he admits the charming and polite characters he usually portrays are very rare in real life.
He says, "I’ve decided the quintessential Englishman I play doesn’t exist. I play him but you don’t run into him very often. There aren’t very many Mr Darcys out there. I think he’s a figment of our folklore, or film lore."

SEX AND THE CITY star CYNTHIA NIXON has praised her friends and family for helping her children accept her lesbian relationship.
The actress, who plays Miranda Hobbes in the smash-hit TV series, ended her 15-year relationship with the father of her two children, Danny Mozes, in 2003.
That same year she began dating education activist Christine Marinoni, who has helped Nixon raise Samantha, 11, and Charles, six.
The 41-year-old tells the New York Daily News, "I’m in a fantastic relationship. It’s been about four years. I’m in love with (Christine) because she’s her. If she were a man, would I be in love with her? I don’t know. We shop and cook and raise children - we both pitch in.

Actor SHIA LaBEOUF is dreading the first review of INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL, because he fears critics will savage his performance and deem him unworthy of joining the action franchise.
The 21-year-old appears alongside veteran Indiana Jones star Harrison Ford in the forthcoming action/adventure movie, and admits he constantly felt intimidated by the fans’ expectations of the fourth sequel in the film series.
But the Transformers star claims Ford was great at putting the rest of the cast at ease and has even likened the 65-year-old to General George Smith Patton, the leading U.S. Army general during World War Two.
LaBeouf tells British magazine Empire, "It was terrifying to join this franchise. Everything you imagine it is, is exactly what it is. You don’t want to be the addition who ruined everything. And you know there’s going to be so much critique, that it can be quite daunting.
"But Harrison always used to say before every take, ‘Alright, let’s shoot this piece of s**t.’ It was his way of alleviating the pressure. Another hats-off thing about Harrison is that he’s the troop leader - he’s General Patton; the guy leading the surge. When you’re around him, you don’t feel that pressure." THE CARDIGANS singer NINA PERSSON refuses to begrudge the commercial failings of her band’s last two albums - because the resulting smaller-scale tours have been the most rewarding of her career.
The Swedish band rocketed to prominence in the mid-1990s when their tune Lovefool was used on the soundtrack to the Leonardo DiCaprio-starring blockbuster Romeo & Juliet.
However, their latest LPs - 2003’s Long Gone Before Daylight and 2005’s Super Extra Gravity - have flopped comparatively.
While Persson appreciates the financial benefits of big album sales, she’s happier performing in venues with smaller crowd capacities.
She says, "We’ve experienced what it’s like to have massive commercial success, but I don’t know if life was better then. I’ve had more fun touring on the last two tours.

RADIOHEAD’s latest album IN RAINBOWS risked ending frontman THOM YORKE’s relationship.
The singer admits he becomes an awkward character when he works on new music - so much so his partner Rachel Owen hasn’t been able to listen to the album, which was released as a download last October (07).
He tells Rolling Stone magazine, "I think my missus isn’t ready to hear it (In Rainbows) yet. Having seen me go through the mill making it.
"It’s a difficult thing for her to watch me go through the whole process. She doesn’t like it. So she’s not exactly ready to listen to the music."

A little known New York rapper will portray slain star NOTORIOUS B.I.G. in a biopic of the late hip-hop icon’s life.
Producers Fox Searchlight - who wanted to avoid recruiting a well-known name - picked Brooklyn-based Jamal Woolard out of 100 hopefuls for the film, which will document the tragic rapper’s childhood, his rise to fame and his untimely 1997 death in a Los Angeles drive-by shooting.
Directed by George Tillman Jr., the film - entitled Notorious - goes into production later this month (Mar08) and is set for release in January 2009.
The producers held an open casting call last autumn (07) in the hope of finding a realistic Notorious B.I.G. lookalike who could imitate the late star’s rapping style, rather than hire a professional actor to play the part.
Reggae star Sean Kingston and rapper Beanie Digel were among the stars turned down.
Woolard - also known as Gravy - released a number of albums on independent labels in the 1990s before being signed by Warner Bros. In 1999, he was involved in a New York radio station shooting, but survived the attack.
Notorious B.I.G.’s mother Voletta Wallace - who refers to her late son by his real name Christopher Wallace - insists "Jamal’s charming personality, warm spirit, wonderful sense of humour and beautiful smile" was the reason he was cast in the role.
She adds, "He is a talented and charismatic actor, and I am excited that he will bring Christopher’s character to life."

BRITNEY SPEARS’ paparazzo lover has reportedly moved on after the troubled singer lashed out at him for corresponding with his wife in text form.
New reports suggest Spears fell out with British boyfriend Adnan Ghalib after she discovered messages on the photographer’s phone from his wife.
And Ghalib is wasting no time in finding a new romance - he has been spotted with up-and-coming model Amanda Pagel.
But her personal photographer, Bill Lemon, tells Life & Style magazine, the romance is a little one-sided.
Lemon explains, "They met through a friend and they talk. They’re more friends than anything.
"He may want their relationship to be serious, but I’m not sure she does."

ANGELINA JOLIE deliberately cancelled an appearance at a pre-Oscars fundraiser co-hosted by BRAD PITT’s ex-wife JENNIFER ANISTON last month (Feb08), because she didn’t want to hurt the FRIENDS star’s feelings, her brother JAMES HAVEN has claimed.
Jolie, her boyfriend Pitt and Aniston were all due to attend the sixth annual Night Before charity event on the eve of the Academy Awards (23Feb08), but the Mr. and Mrs Smith stars were noticeably absent from the glitzy fundraiser, which was also attended by Hollywood superstars including George Clooney, Cameron Diaz, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.
And while Internet gossips claimed a pregnant Jolie and Pitt had pulled out of the event for fear of a showdown with Aniston, Haven insists the rumours couldn’t be further from the truth.
He says, "Angie is an incredibly strong but also incredibly sensitive woman, and she would always be careful when another woman’s feelings are concerned.
"She’d go out of her way to make sure there was no situation that would hurt another woman because of her, and I’m talking about a situation like one of Brad’s ex partners or his ex-wife." Pitt and Aniston were married for five years before splitting in January 2005. Less than three months later, Pitt began a relationship with Jolie, who he had met on the set of Mr. and Mrs Smith - but both stars denied media speculation of an affair, insisting they only got together after Pitt and Aniston separated.
Jolie and Pitt are now said to be expecting their second biological child, although reports have yet to be confirmed. They already have a daughter, Shiloh, and three adopted kids: Maddox, Pax Thien and Zahara.

Actor/director KEVIN COSTNER has settled a breach of contract lawsuit he filed in 2005 against a production company over the film TAMING BEN TAYLOR.
The Oscar winner sued Ascendant Pictures after the firm pulled out of their contract to make the film with Costner in the lead role.
The 53-year-old The Bodyguard star argued the lost project had cost him about $8 million (£4 million) in earnings and the case was due to be heard in court on Wednesday (05Mar08).
However, the two parties came to an out-of-court agreement on Monday (03Mar08), according to Costner’s lawyer William Bossen.
Details of the settlement have not been released.

BRITNEY SPEARS’ father JAMIE will remain in temporary control of his daughter’s legal and financial affairs for another four months, a Los Angeles judge has ruled.
Jamie Spears was appointed conservator of the pop star’s estate with court-appointed observer Andrew Wallet at the start of February (08).
His shared responsibility for the troubled singer’s affairs was due to end on 10 March (08), but L.A. Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz has now extended the conservatorship period until 31 July (08).
Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini tells People.com, "I can confirm that the order was issued this afternoon, but I don’t know the attorneys’ motives." The decision was made at an unscheduled court hearing on Wednesday afternoon (05Mar08).

Action man SYLVESTER STALLONE and comedians CHRIS ROCK and GARRY SHANDLING have been named among a list of potential witnesses in the trial of disgraced private investigator ANTHONY PELLICANO.
The stars are just some of the celebrities who allegedly had their phones bugged or names illegally checked against police databases on the order of Pellicano.
The spy has pleaded not guilty to federal charges in a 111-count indictment, including charges of conspiracy and police bribery. He is alleged to have been collecting information on celebrities for his clients to use for threats or blackmail.
The prosecution’s extensive witness list, baring 127 names, was unveiled on Wednesday (05Mar08) as jury selection was completed in the case.
However, Stallone, Rock and Shandling may not be summoned to appear in court as it is unclear just how many of the witnesses will actually testify, a note made by U.S. District Judge Dale Fischer.
The trial is set to begin with opening statements on Thursday (06Mar08) in a Los Angeles court. Pellicano, 63, will represent himself against the charges.

MADONNA has fuelled reports she’s secretly planning a series of early summer (08) shows after announcing an open call audition for "versatile" dancers on Thursday (06Mar08).
The pop superstar and choreographer Jamie King are taking over Foresight Dance Studios in Los Angeles in an effort to find "hot" dancers.
The call sheet, obtained by WENN, asks wannabe dancers to "bring 2 pictures & resumes," and asks for "strong & versatile dancers".
The release form states, "Be prepared with everything from knee pads to different shoes. Should be comfortable doing most any style of choreography.
Dress: look good, hot, and able to dance." The auditions take place throughout Thursday afternoon and into the evening.
Madonna is remaining tight-lipped about why she needs new dancers, but the call sheet suggests the dates of work will be "April 2008 - TBD."
