Former Bond girl DENISE RICHARDS has attacked her "angry" ex CHARLIE SHEEN for trying to use her upcoming reality show to battle her for more child custody.
Sheen and his new fiancee Brooke Mueller have both spoken out against Richards’ new E! show, claiming it will exploit his young daughters by his ex-wife.
After losing a court battle to veto the show, Sheen has urged parents and fans to boycott Richards’ reality series.
And now the actress is fighting back, insisting his attempts to wreck her reality ambitions are nothing more than the acts of an "angry person".
She tells America’s In Touch magazine, "This is the first time I’ve publicly commented on one of his attacks, but I need to take a stand at some point.
"He’s such an angry person. This court battle wasn’t about our girls on the show, it was him battling me. He wasn’t trying to protect the kids at all." Richards insists Sheen attempted to use the reality show as leverage to change their custody agreement - and was so convinced he’d win the latest battle in the couple’s bitter divorce and custody war he had a victory statement prepared.
She adds, "He lost. So now he wants my show to fail."

JANET JACKSON has claimed her first U.S. number one album since 2001 after toppling another famous J.J. - JACK JOHNSON.
Jackson ended the surf-rocker’s three-week reign atop the Billboard 200 by debuting Discipline at number one, as experts predicted.
But the new album shifted slightly more than expected, claiming the top spot with 181,000 sales.
Erykah Badu’s new album 4th World War debuts at two, while Johnson’s Sleep Between The Static slides to three.
Rapper Webbie’s Savage Life 2 enters the new chart at four and As I Am by Alicia Keys rounds out the top five.

PARIS HILTON went public with her latest romance on Tuesday night (04Mar08) when she was spotted at LINKIN PARK’s Los Angeles concert with GOOD CHARLOTTE star BENJI MADDEN.
The couple was caught in an elevator at the Staples Center by a staff member of gig promoters Star 98.7 - and they allowed him to briefly interview them on his video camera.
They initially refused to be interviewed together but Hilton joined in the chat with Madden, after the cameraman asked her if Linkin Park are her favourite band.
She chuckled, "No, I love Good Charlotte." Hilton’s best friend Nicole Richie has just had a child with Madden’s twin brother and Good Charlotte bandmate Joel.

Actor MATTHEW McCONAUGHEY is launching his own surf clothing line.
The A Time To Kill star, who is well-known for frolicking in the surf shirtless, is developing a fashion line of swimming wear named j.k. livin, after his production company and catchphrase, "Just keep livin’." The clothes, including T-shirts and Frisbees, will be available to purchase on McConaughey’s website this summer (08).
A spokesperson for the actor, who will play a surfer in new film Surfer Dude, says, "It will be a one-stop shop for everything you need for the beach."

WHITNEY HOUSTON was left less than amused when a pre-famous AMY ADAMS tried to pitch her on-sale clothing at a Gap store.
Enchanted star Adams once worked in the Atlanta, Georgia branch of the fashion chain, and recalls having some fun when Houston paid a shopping visit.

Actress/model JENNY McCARTHY has called on the U.S. medical community to recognise that diet and vitamins can help ease the symptoms of autism.
McCarthy, whose five-year-old son Evan suffers from the disorder, travels around America giving talks about the alleged benefits of natural medicines.
But the blonde, who is dating Jim Carrey, wishes doctors would acknowledge how diets and vitamins can be used to treat autism.
She says, "I’ve been speaking to moms across the country who are all shouting out the same thing: ‘This (diet and supplement intake) is working.’ "It’s so heartbreaking to see the medical community not support something called diet and vitamins. And it pains us, city after city after city. I see this heartbreak on these mom’s faces.
"Autism isn’t covered by (medical) insurance. If things like diets and supplements are working, then why not support it? These kids are getting better and I will not shut up and will not stop fighting about it."

Reformed rockers BLIND MELON knew singer TRAVIS WARREN was the perfect replacement for former frontman SHANNON HOON when they discovered he had a large tattoo of the late star on his back.
The No Rain band reformed late last year (07) and asked Warren to front them after he had been working on his own new material with bassist Brad Smith and guitarist Christopher Thorn in Los Angeles.
And the pair knew they’d found Hoon’s perfect replacement the first time the singer took off his shirt - he had a 10-inch tattoo of Hoon, who died of a drug overdose in 1995, on his back.
Warren says, "It’s like the dog you loved when you were a kid came back from the dead and just showed up back at your door, wagging his tail like nothing had ever happened."

The Trouble singer, who recently announced she had separated from her husband of two years Carey Hart, was spotted partying with longtime collaborator Butch Walker at one of her favourite Los Angeles haunts, the Key Club.
And Pink was not in the mood to mourn her marriage - she got the party started when she jumped onstage to join rockers Metal Skool, who perform at the venue every Monday night.
It isn’t the first time Pink has joined the group onstage - she teamed up with the tribute act onstage in 2006.
One fans tells In Touch magazine, "She sang laying on the floor because she seemed too drunk to stand." And it seems Walker is not only her producer and songwriting partner - he’s her new man.

Rocker JOAN JETT will pay a musical tribute to the DAVE CLARK FIVE when the British group is inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame next week (10Mar08).
According to a source at the Hall of Fame, Jett will join Iggy Pop & The Stooges, John Mellencamp, Damien Rice and Patti LaBelle among the performers at Monday’s New York City gala.
As previously announced, Dave Clark Five superfan Tom Hanks will officially induct the band into the Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio.

Movie veteran JACK NICHOLSON has defended the 2008 Oscars after critics savaged the telecast, which suffered terrible TV ratings in America.
The Academy Awards show was snubbed by millions of TV viewers - it attracted the lowest audience figures since 1974.
But The Shining star, who sat in the front row throughout the event, insists it was still a "tremendous" evening, even though not everything at the ceremony was to his liking.
He tells MTV.com, "I like the spirit of the Oscars. I think what happened this year was the Oscars had an indigenous quality. The acting categories were tremendous.
"The pictures themselves were not necessarily pictures that the public connected with. I like the Oscars because it’s not exactly the way I want it.
It’s basically good for everybody.
"Every kind of actor is represented in there. I do think there are too many other awards shows. There are too many self-congratulations."

Pop star LILY ALLEN has angered organisers of the Isle Of Wight festival after cancelling a scheduled appearance due to "recording commitments".
The Smile singer was due to perform at the event later this year (Jun08), but has pulled out of the gig because her second album is reportedly behind schedule.
John Giddings, the festival’s promoter, reveals Allen was added to the festival line-up in November (07), and has called the cancellation "unacceptable".
He says, "I didn’t book a record, I booked an artist. I read in the tabloids a load of different reasons (for the cancellation).
"Unfortunately this country has developed some great new girl singer-songwriters, but they seem to be having a few problems don’t they?" But Giddings has vowed not to replace the singer, and will instead use the money earmarked for Allen’s fee to make the festival more eco-friendly.
He adds, "If you read what Radiohead say, that they’re only going to play events in future that are properly ecologically sound, then I’d rather use the money to do that and make the audience experience better, than just book another group." The Isle Of Wight festival will run from 13-15 June (08).

AVRIL LAVIGNE has added fashion mogul to her resume - after signing a deal to lend her name to a teenage clothing range.
The Girlfriend star has teamed up with U.S. department store chain Kohl’s to produce the Abbey Dawn range, which will feature both jewellery and clothing.
Abbey Dawn is expected to blend "authentic rock ‘n’ roll attitude with a feminine edge", reports Women’s Wear Daily.
The range will launch in July (08).
