LIL’ BOOSIE’S NO SHOW SPARKS RIOTS

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:30 am

A scheduled LIL’ BOOSIE concert in Omaha, Nebraska, ended in chaos last week when the rapper failed to turn up for the gig, sparking riots among angry fans.
The hip-hop star was booked for a concert at Sokol Underground on Friday (29Feb08) but didn’t show up, infuriating the 900-strong crowd who had each paid $30 (£15) for the event.
Trouble started when the audience members were told to leave the venue at 11pm, with some unhappy audience members demonstrating their fury by ripping a ticket booth off a wall.
The chaos escalated outside the club, where disgruntled fans crowded around an intersection in the road, bringing passing traffic to a halt.
Police were called to the scene to close down the intersection and help disperse the crowd. The crowd violence resulted in damages to the club, while two people were ticketed for disorderly conduct. No one is believed to have been injured in the incident.
Representatives for Lil’ Boosie have yet to comment on the reasons for the no-show.
