CONAWAY: ‘SCIENTOLOGY SAVED ME FROM DRUG ADDICTION’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 12:36 am

Actor JEFF CONAWAY has credited his faith in Scientology for helping him to successfully kick his drug habit.
The 57-year-old star, who battled addictions to cocaine, alcohol, and painkillers on the U.S. reality TV show Celebrity Rehab, claims he was introduced to the controversial religion by his Grease co-star John Travolta and his newfound belief has cured his need for the damaging substances.
He tells American magazine Inside Edition, "I’ve been doing Scientology… My doctor was like, ‘Holy cow’, he says whatever you’ve been doing keep doing it because it’s really working.
"John and I stayed friends but he couldn’t watch me going down the tubes…
He gave me a whole library of Scientology books and he’s given me an auditor who comes almost every day."
