AYKROYD SWAPS HOLLYWOOD FOR ALCOHOL

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:27 pm

Comedian DAN AYKROYD has a new career after quitting Hollywood - he’s an alcohol entrepreneur.
The Trading Places actor has hooked up with the company which makes Patron Tequila, after helping the firm find a distribution deal in his native Canada.
And now the two parties have teamed up to launch a range of Aykroyd-branded wines.
Despite still being in demand in Hollywood, the 55-year-old would prefer to make movies than star in them - but claims his ideas were constantly overlooked, so he quit.
He tells Cigar Aficionado magazine, "It’s tough for the older guys to get in the door and pitch a concept, it really is. So I kind of had to let go of the film business a few years ago.
"My choice is to find other things to occupy myself. I’m not going to beg for jobs."
