Singer ASHLEE SIMPSON has denied reports she is to wed FALL OUT BOY rocker PETE WENTZ after showing off a "promise ring" on a U.S. TV show.
The 23-year-old sparked rumours of an engagement after a recent appearance on U.S. TV show The Sauce, on which she flashed the diamond band she was wearing on her ring finger.
When asked what the ring meant, she said, "It just means that he (Wentz) hasn’t asked my Dad (for permission) yet!" But a representative for the Piece Of Me hitmaker insists, "She is not engaged." The couple has been dating since April 2007.
