ARQUETTE WALKED OFF SET DURING COX’S LOVE SCENE
DAVID ARQUETTE walked off the set of TV show DIRT while directing his wife COURTENEY COX in a love scene.
Arquette stepped behind the camera to direct an episode of the drama, in which Cox’s magazine editor character had to kiss hunky co-star Danny Comden.
But he found the experience too much, and couldn’t bear to watch his wife with another man.
Cox explains, "He directed me kissing this guy. David said, ‘You’re going to lean in for the kiss.’ I leaned in for the kiss, and he said, ‘Cut.’ I tried again, and he said, ‘Cut.’ "I said, ‘David, my character needs to make out with people.’ "We tried for a third time and we’re actually kissing and it goes on too long, it got uncomfortable. David had actually left."
