ELTON OFFERED TO REMOVE TROUSERS FOR CHARITY
SIR ELTON JOHN offered to remove his trousers to raise money for charity at his post-Oscars party on Sunday (24Feb08).
The Rocket Man was hosting an auction at the bash, with the proceeds going to Aids research - and was prepared to drop his suit pants to encourage guests to part with more cash.
A quick-witted Sharon Stone - who helped raise a record $5.1 million (£2.55 million) at the party in her guise as auctioneer - admitted she wouldn’t join the singer and remove any clothing, hinting instead to her crotch-flashing performance in 1992 movie Basic Instinct.
She told the crowd, "I’d do that, but you’ve seen it before."
