JANNEY MISSED JUNO ACTRESS SPEECH
JUNO star ALLISON JANNEY was left red faced at the Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday (23Feb08) when she realised her onscreen stepdaughter was accepting her Best Actress prize while she was shopping for gifts backstage.
As Ellen Page collected her honour at the ceremony, Janney was caught selecting treats in the event’s gift suite.
After the Spirits, embarrassed Janney told Internet blogger Marc Malkin, "I can’t believe I wasn’t in there!"
