RIHANNA NAMED CULTURAL AMBASSADOR TO BARBADOS
R&B singer RIHANNA has been named an honourary cultural ambassador to her native Barbados.
The Umbrella star was awarded the honour by the island’s Prime Minister, David Thompson, at a rally held on Thursday (21Feb08).
And Rihanna will be rewarded by the Barbadian government for her cultural efforts - she is set to be given a plot of land in the exclusive Apes Hill area of St James parish as a thank you.
