The thrilled Juno star was toasted by host Ellen DeGeneres after the comedienne presented her with a glass of champagne.
DeGeneres said, "It’s legal for you to drink here now." The Canadian actress then joked, "Wow, I’ve never tasted liquor before. It’s an interesting taste."

EDDIE VAN HALEN’s ex-wife VALERIE BERTINELLI once romanced movie mogul STEVEN SPIELBERG.
In an upcoming interview with U.S. talk show host Oprah Winfrey, the beloved TV star-turned-weightloss spokeswoman opens up about dating the director.
Bertinelli reveals Spielberg asked her out after she auditioned for his blockbuster Raiders of The Lost Ark.
She says, "I was so wrong for (the role) and the next day I got a call and some flowers… (Spielberg) asked me out. We went out a few times." The actress and Jenny Craig spokeswoman even suggests the romance was more than dinner and flowers, telling Winfrey, "(We) did more." But the romance didn’t last - Bertinelli fell for Van Halen and Spielberg wed actress Amy Irving. He has since divorced and is now married to Kate Capshaw.
In the interview, which airs on Oprah on Monday (25Feb08), Bertinelli, who is promoting new autobiography Losing It… And Gaining My Life Back One Pound At A Time, also speaks out about cheating on her ex-husband and a lusty lesbian moment, when she kissed another woman.

Actress MARION COTILLARD kickstarted her Oscars weekend in style - by claiming France’s top acting prize.
The Oscar nominee claimed a Best Actress Cesar for her acclaimed portrayal of tragic singer Edith Piaf in La Vie en Rose on Friday night (22Feb08).
The honour further cements Cotillard as a red-hot favourite for Oscar gold on Sunday (24Feb08) - she has already won a British BAFTA and a Golden Globe among her string of acting accolades.
If she does, indeed, take home an Oscar, Cotillard will become the first French Best Actress winner since Simone Signoret won gold in 1960.
Meanwhile, also honoured at the Cesars was Mathieu Amalric, who was named Best Actor for his performance as a stroke victim in The Diving Bell and the Butterfly.
Amalric was absent from the prizegiving because he is currently playing the latest James Bond villain on location in Panama.
La Graine et le Mulet claimed the night’s Best Film honour and Abdellatif Kechiche was named Best Director for the movie. Hafsia Herzi claimed the Best Young Actress prize for the film.

BLACK EYED PEAS star will.i.am is working on another pro-BARACK OBAMA track, called WE ARE THE ONES.
The hip-hop star recruited celebrity friends like Herbie Hancock and Scarlett Johansson to appear on his last pro-Obama campaign song/online video, Yes We Can - and he plans to do the same with his latest effort.
Jessica Alba is among the stars who will reportedly lend their voices to the track.

ANTHRAX drummer CHARLIE BENANTE is taking his love for coffee to the next level - by bringing out his own brew.
The rocker has blended Central American, African and Asian coffees for his own signature line.
Benante says, "I like to enjoy a good cup of coffee. I will drink it hot, iced, frapped and intravenously.
"I’ve been all around the world, tried many different blends and I have come up with some combinations that kick ass. If you are a coffee drinker, I think you’re going to love it.

RAY DAVIES has broken the hearts of KINKS fans by insisting news of a reunion isn’t as immediate as they’d like to think.
Reports have been circulating for the past two months that Davies, his brother Dave and their bandmates will become the latest supergroup to reform for a world tour.
But the Days singer urges fans not to get their hopes up.
He tells Billboard.com a reunion will only take place if he and his warring sibling can "get together".
Davies fears Dave’s 2004 stroke has rendered the guitarist too weak for a full comeback.
He explains, "He’s gradually getting his strength back, but he’s playing again, so that’s a good sign… He’s getting well enough to shout at me." And the band leader will only consider a reunion if the group records new songs: "I can’t get a band together just to play the old hits. They’d have to be able to do, like, 10 per cent new material. I think that will be the determining factor in the long run." The other thing that stands in the way of a Kinks reunion is the fact Dave Davies doesn’t seem to want to play the old hits again.
In a recent posting on his website, Davies compared the idea of a reunion to a "poor remake of Night of the Livin (sic) Dead".

VELVET REVOLVER star MATT SORUM is confident his styling skills will turn his new clothing line venture into a success - he has been designing outfits for bandmate SLASH for years.
The drummer has teamed up with designer Max Noce to create the Sorum Noce clothing line.
The two friends plan to launch the new venture in March (08), a month before opening a new West Hollywood store on Melrose Avenue.
Sorum says he’s "always been interested in the idea of rock & roll and fashion," and he’s been styling his bandmates for years.
He tells Blabbermouth.net, "I designed a leather jacket especially for Slash that has this special pocket for his Gitanes cigarettes and his lighter. And he loves it.
"We’re going to make that available to buy." And former Valentino and Dolce & Gabbana designer Noce is convinced the fashion conscious will be more than impressed with his partner’s creations: "As long as I have known him, he has a tremendous eye for style."

LATEST: AARON CARTER’s father has been left "floored" by his son’s stupidity after the pop star was arrested for marijuana possession in Texas.
The 20-year-old singer was pulled over by cops after he was spotted speeding in Kimble County on Thursday (21Feb08).
Police found a reported two ounces (56.7 grams) of marijuana during a search of his vehicle - and Carter’s father, Bob, is hopping mad.
He tells America’s People magazine, "I’m just totally floored by this
. Other people suspected he had a problem, but I denied it and didn’t believe it.
"Now I feel hurt and betrayed, because I see that everything wasn’t what I thought it was." A statement from Aaron Carter’s management reads, "On his way to Florida bringing his two dogs to live on a large ranch, Aaron Carter was detained today in Texas by a trooper for exceeding the speed limit by 5 mph.
"A search revealed a small amount of marijuana, a misdemeanour in this state.
He is posting bail and will return to Los Angeles
. He sincerely regrets any embarrassment this caused to his family, friends and fans." The singer’s father hopes the arrest serves as a wake-up call to his son: "Aaron has always thought he was invincible and sometimes it takes a knock in the head to get people back on track
. I hope that’s what happens here."

R&B star NE-YO has been arrested and charged with reckless driving after police in Georgia caught him speeding through Cobb County at over 100 miles per hour (160.9 kilometers-per-hour).
The So Sick singer, real name Shaffer Smith, was booked after traffic cops flagged down his Range Rover on Tuesday (19Feb08).
TMZ.com reports Ne-Yo was also arrested for not having a valid license.
