WAINWRIGHT TO PLAY CANDLE-LIT GIG FOR BLACKOUT INITIATIVE
American singer/songwriter RUFUS WAINWRIGHT will play a candle-lit gig in New York City in June (08) to promote energy consumption awareness.
Wainwright will take to the stage at the Angel Orensanz Foundation on 21 June to play an unamplified benefit concert for his BlackoutSabbath initiative.
BlackoutSabbath is proposing an international blackout for 12 hours from midday to midnight on 21 June.
