THE FEELING STAR’S JUNK ART
THE FEELING frontman DAN GILLESPIE SELLS has found a unique use for his household junk - he’s put it on the front cover of his band’s new album JOIN WITH US.
The British rocker has an obsession with online auction website eBay and admits his house is full of useless items bought from the Internet store.
But he discovered his junk could be used creatively - so has photographed a mis-matched collection of musical instruments, alphabet wall tiles and deer head wall mounts for their forthcoming LP release.
He says, "eBay’s a disaster, it’ll be the ruin of me. I can’t stop buying tat (junk), it’s become a major habit. My home is overrun with stuff.
"(But) a lot of my toys and bits of rubbish (trash) ended up on the artwork.
I love collage so we brought a load of stuff in and built up the concept physically."
