SEVIGNY MOCKED BY MORRISSEY FANS FOR WALKMAN FAUX PAS

Actress CHLOE SEVIGNY hates going to MORRISSEY gigs - because the singer’s die-hard fans detest her.
The Boys Don’t Cry star is a big fan of the British rocker, but finds it hard to enjoy the former Smiths frontman’s performances knowing her presence will prompt Morrissey followers to abuse her on his fansite.
She says, "They always make fun of me. They hate me, they’re really nasty." Last Halloween (07), Sevigny attended a gig by Morrissey dressed as Joan Of Arc from the lyrics of hit Bigmouth Strikes Again - but was again singled out for ridicule because she made a fatal error with the character’s accessories.
The 33-year-old swapped a Sony Walkman for a Panasonic personal stereo - much to fans’ disdain.
Sevigny explains, "The Sony ones are really hard to find, so I had a Panasonic. And on the website, they said, ‘Oh, a Panasonic isn’t really a Walkman.’ They’re such nit-pickers."
