Legendary modern dance choreographer PINA BAUSCH left hundreds of fans disappointed after she failed to perform at the London premiere of CAFE MULLER on Wednesday night (13Feb08).
The German star was set to take the stage at the capital’s Sadler’s Wells theatre to perform her 1978 show - one of only two pieces the 67-year-old continues to dance in herself.
A spokesperson for Bausch was unable to give an explanation for her absence and could not comment on whether she would dance in next week’s (begs18Feb08) shows.
