ACTOR GROH DIES
Actor DAVID GROH has died following a battle with kidney cancer. He was 68.
Groh, who is best known for starring in ’70s U.S. sitcom Rhoda, passed away at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Tuesday (12Feb08).
He shot to fame in 1974 when he starred as Joe Gerard, the husband of Valerie Harper’s Rhoda Morgenstern on the TV smash.
Groh also appeared in numerous television shows including Law & Order, General Hospital and Murder, She Wrote, and he had roles in movies including Two-Minute Warning and Get Shorty.
