The scene in question features the 15-year-old pop sensation and her dad in the back of a Range Rover - with neither of them wearing required safety restraints.
Billy Ray tells People.com, "We got caught up in the moment of filming, and we made a mistake and forgot to buckle our seatbelts. Seatbelt safety is extremely important."

BON JOVI guitarist RICHIE SAMBORA feared he’d never recover from a severe bout of depression last year (07) - because his life was in tatters.
The musician was admitted to rehab following a lengthy battle with alcohol, sparked by his deteriorating marriage to actress Heather Locklear and the ailing health of his dad, among other factors.
However, Sambora managed to drag himself out of the "wreckage" with the help of his friends and his own courage.
He tells People.com, "I got divorced (from Locklear), I was going through a custody battle, I was having alcohol addiction problems, my dad was dying.
"It was a gang tackle from hell, basically. And crawling out of that wreckage was a very triumphant victory."

R&B superstar JANET JACKSON is in no rush to wed longterm boyfriend JERMAINE DUPRI, because she thinks she is "allergic to marriage".
The All 4 U hitmaker admits she has been put off the idea after two failed unions - her first marriage to James DeBarge broke down in 1985 after one year, and the second, to Rene Elizondo, ended in divorce in 1999 after 13 years together.
But the 41-year-old beauty, who has been dogged by engagement rumours in recent months, insists she isn’t ruling out a wedding to music mogul Dupri completely.
She says, "If it’s (meant) to happen, it’ll happen. I like where we are, and I’m happy where I am. I’ve done it twice before. I’m afraid I might be a jinx.
I might be allergic to marriage." Jackson has been dating Dupri since 2002.

DAVID HASSELHOFF spent a night in a detox centre in Los Angeles recently after suffering an alcohol relapse, according to reports.
The actor, who spent Christmas and New Year (08) in a Hawaiian rehab clinic, slipped in his battle with booze last week (07Feb08) and checked into L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he was held overnight.
A friend tells the National Enquirer, "He comes in drunk and sick. The staff get him cleaned up and feeling right again and then he’s gone.
"David must be going through some kind of rehab record." The same magazine reported that Hasselhoff had visited Cedars-Sinai twice in just 48 hours in December (07) after drinking binges.

SAMUEL L. JACKSON’s Madame Tussaud’s waxwork is so realistic - his own friends mistake it for the real thing.
The actor is frequently called by pals who think they’ve seen him posing with fans on New York City’s 42nd street - where his figure stands on the sidewalk outside the famous museum.
Jackson says, "It’s a very good likeness. I’ve had people call me and say they saw me in New York. I’m like, ‘I’m not in New York.’ They said, ‘Yeah you’re on 42nd street, taking pictures with some people.’ Not me!" The actor has also appealed for Madame Tussauds bosses to let his waxwork back inside, in the warmth of the building: "Why are they putting mine outside all the time? I’m not sure if I’m not fit to be inside with the others."

Comedian JIM CARREY and girlfriend JENNY McCARTHY are celebrating - the actress/model is reportedly expecting their first child together.
The couple has been dating since 2005 and their happy news was made public by McCarthy’s TV presenter pal Chelsey Handler on Tuesday (12Feb08) night during her talkshow on the E! network.
Making the impromptu announcement, she said: "And by the way, Jim, Jenny wanted me to tell you - she’s pregnant." Carrey has a 20-year-old daughter named Jane from his first marriage to actress Melissa Womer, while McCarthy has an autistic five-year-old son, Evan, with her ex-husband director John Asher.

South Korean singer RAIN is jetting off to Hollywood to star in a blockbuster movie from the makers of THE MATRIX.
Rain - real name Jeong Ji-hoon - has landed the leading role in action film Ninja Assassin, directed by James McTeigue and produced by movie heavyweight Joel Silver and the Wachowski brothers, the siblings behind The Matrix franchise.
And Rain - who is a massive star in his homeland - is hoping his big break will propel him to prominence in the international movie market.
He says, "This is such a huge opportunity for me. It seems like a dream." Rain made his Hollywood debut in Speed Racer, also produced by the Wachowski brothers, but only in a supporting role. The film is scheduled to hit screens in May (08).

Director SPIKE LEE has been honoured with the $50,000 (£25,000) Wexner Prize in recognition of his work in the movie industry.
The Malcolm X filmmaker, 50, received the prestigious silver hammer sculpture on Monday (11Feb08) at a ceremony at founder Les Wexner’s home in Columbus, Ohio.
In a statement, Wexner says, "Spike Lee exemplifies what the Wexner Prize was created to celebrate: a bold creative spirit who is unafraid to provoke and challenge us. He tests the American mind, and its attitudes, assumptions and values, and in doing so, he has advanced American cinema in remarkable ways." Lee is the 13th recipient of the award, funded for by the Wexner Center Foundation, which aims to applaud innovation, quality and integrity among creative stars.

BROOKE SHIELDS has banned her elderly mother from seeing her children after a bitter bust-up.
Teri Shields, 74, claims the actress turned her back on her two years ago (06) after she accidentally left four-year-old grandson Rowan unsupervised while babysitting.
She also accuses her son-in-law Chris Henchy of having a "svengali-like" influence over the star and turning her against Teri.
Brooke’s mum tells the National Enquirer, "I don’t see Brooke or my granddaughters much. I wish I could see Brooke, but all she does is work. They were here over Christmas, dropped off some packages and then were gone.
"I’m always disappointed in her, like the times she snaps: ‘What do you ever do for me?’ That’s what her husband tells her to say. "I preferred Brooke’s first husband Andre Agassi over Chris. Brooke goes along with whatever he says - that’s the kind of influence he has over her."

Filmmaker WES CRAVEN is to make a return to the horror genre with new project 25/8 - the first scary film he has written since 1994’s WES CRAVEN’S NEW NIGHTMARE.
The Scream director has signed on to write and direct the new movie, about a serial killer who turns up 15 years after his purported death to kill the seven children born on that evening.
Craven tells industry publication Variety, "It’s more a thriller than slasher film, and revolves around a young kid with a very dark past involving his family and his father." And Craven has also given his blessing to the forthcoming remake of his Nightmare on Elm Street series, which is being planned by New Line movie studio.
He adds, "My baby has fallen into the hands of others, and what can I say but wish them luck."

Hollywood madam HEIDI FLEISS has dismissed charges of driving under the influence (DUI) and drug possession filed against her by Nevada police insisting they will be dropped as soon as she can prove her innocence The one-time girlfriend of actor Tom Sizemore was arrested last week (6Feb08) after police were tipped off about her erratic driving.
Cops found prescription drugs which Fleiss couldn’t prove were hers, and charged her with driving without a license, possession of dangerous drugs without a prescription, and driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
But Fleiss insists she is innocent, telling the National Enquirer: "It’s no big deal. When I get to court, everyone will see. It will all be taken care of.
"I was waiting outside in the parking lot when a police officer knocked on the car window and told me I had been swerving. I told him that I didn’t remember doing that. Then he asked me for my driver’s license and that’s when it all went wrong. I reached into my pocket to get my license and a bottle of Vicodin fell out.
"I’m squeaky clean this time. I’ll just take the prescription to court with me and everything will be fine."

Actress MARY-LOUISE PARKER is to marry boyfriend JEFFREY DEAN MORGAN after rekindling their love on the set of American TV show WEEDS.
The couple first dated in early 2007 but broke up in June that year after a brief romance, with Morgan stating it was "the wrong time" in their lives for a relationship.
However, the stars - who play husband and wife on Weeds - reunited off-screen and made their relationship public in December (07), when they attended the U.S. premiere of P.S. I Love You holding hands, reports the New York Daily News.

MARK RONSON discovered how to turn the media to his advantage after fans pelted him with the chocolate bars he’d named as his favourite sweet treat in an interview.
When the celebrated music producer, who spends most of his time in America, was asked what he misses most about Britain, he instinctively answered "Curly Wurlys" - a chocolate and toffee snack bar.
And following the interview’s publication, fans began to shower him with the tasty treats at his gigs.

Producer MARK RONSON has quashed reports he’ll be laying down vocals on new tunes - insisting his singing voice is best left unheard.
The Grammy-winning star can’t even summon the courage to add guide vocals to the tracks he writes - because he’s too embarrassed to play his performances to the talented singers he collaborates with.
He says, "I don’t know where that story came from. I’d love to be able to sing, but it’s not something I was born with.
"I work with so many amazing singers such as Amy Winehouse and I wouldn’t have the nerve to play them my demos. It’d be awful."

Hip-hop mogul SHAWN ‘JAY-Z’ CARTER has laughed off reports of hostility between himself and Def Jam chairman ANTONIO ‘L.A.’ REID, insisting the former colleagues are still close pals.
The 99 Problems rapper stepped down from his post as President of Def Jam at the end of 2007, amid reports of a disagreement over money with Reid.
But Carter is adamant his departure as CEO of the label has not affected their professional relationship.
He tells MTV.com, "It wasn’t a hostile thing. I was with L.A. last night. We still gonna continue to work on (projects), just not (with me) as the president of Def Jam. But everything is sweet."

Veteran rockers THE POLICE are to disband later this year (08) after one more tour of the U.S.
The British trio, who originally split in the mid-1980s, reunited in 2007 for an extensive world tour which grossed more than $210 million (£105 million) more than any other act that year (07).
But the group - comprising of Sting on vocals, Stewart Copeland on drums and guitarist Andy Summers - have no plans to make their reformation long-term, with the axeman this week admitting they would not be recording any more new material.
And according to sources close to the band, The Police will call it quits after the curtain falls on their final show in July (08), reports Rolling Stone magazine.

Actress ISLA FISHER used to collect "horse poop" for a living before landing a career on TV.
The Wedding Crashers star confessed she used to scoop up horse excrement from the floor with her bare hands to sell on the side of the street.
She says, "My first job was collecting horse poop and putting it in sacks and selling it on the other side of the road. For a dollar.
"You have the gloves on at the beginning. And then you think, this is taking too long. And before you know it, there are no gloves! And you’re just picking up the poop. But it’s dried poop, rest assured."

LATEST: PARIS HILTON’s brother BARRON has been released on bail after his arrest for driving under the influence (DUI).
The 18-year-old was arrested on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California at 8.30am on Tuesday (12Feb08). It is believed he accidentally ran over a gas station worker before his arrest.
Hilton was released from the Lost Hills Sheriff’s station on $5,000 (£2,500) bail on Tuesday evening. Los Angeles County Sheriff spokesman Steve Whitmore confirmed Hilton had been charged with misdemeanour because his blood alcohol level was .14 - nearly twice the legal limit.
Meanwhile, it has emerged Hilton’s family found out about his arrest through media reports. His father Rick tells Usmagazine.com, "I haven’t been contacted yet by either my son or the police. If what I have heard is true, it is very disturbing and I will have a lot to say - but it will be to my son not the media." However, older sister Paris tells Hollyscoop.com, "I am sad for my little brother. I hear he is doing OK. I am there for him and will be speaking to him in an hour or so, hopefully, to lend my support."
