NASH IS HAPPY FOR WINEHOUSE
British singer KATE NASH is thrilled AMY WINEHOUSE is finally getting her life back on track - insisting she deserved her Grammy glory on Monday (11Feb08).
The Foundations star spoke about the troubled singer at the Elle Style Awards in London last night (12Feb08), where she hailed Winehouse a legend.
Winehouse scooped five awards at Sunday’s (10Feb08) ceremony and, after a string of American Visa problems, performed via satellite link-up from her native London.
The Back To Black hitmaker is currently being treated at a rehab clinic in a bid to kick her drug demons, but took time out to get involved with the American awards ceremony.
Nash says, "She looked really good and I am glad she is sorting herself out.
It was a great performance, she’s a legend and she deserved to win."
