FARRELL FOUGHT FATHERHOOD
COLIN FARRELL was a bad dad for two-and-a-half years, until he decided to grow up and embrace his relationship with his son JAMES.
The actor reveals he fought against fatherhood and desperately tried to hang onto his life as a young Hollywood hellraiser after one-time girlfriend Kim Bordenave gave birth to his son four and a half years ago.
Farrell, 31, eventually gave up the fight - and now enjoys a close relationship with the youngster.
He says, "Fatherhood doesn’t change your life unless you want it to. I fought it for two-and a-half years trying to cling onto my youth, until I decided to let fatherhood change my life." And he has given up hellraising too: "I’m quiet now. Boring. I do incredibly tedious things like hanging out with my son."
